  4. This shouldn’t surprise us. Layton is not a stranger to “Alinskyism”.
    When I saw a Obama/Biden lawn sign by my friend’s house the other night, it was only my respect for private property that prevented me from ripping it out. Believe it or not, I would have had the same reaction to a McCain/Palin sign. This being Canada and having just gone through the election process, we should have already had enough of lawn signs, no?
    Well, unless they have a picture of the lovely Ms. Palin on it, of course.

  7. They’re getting down to the end game when the news of the day is the amount of money the Republicans spent on clothes for Sarah Palin. What they might like to mention is she could wear a sack and look a hell of a lot better than any of the female twits in the media who have been slagging her,Katie Couric et al, plus Malicious Mallick of our own CBC.
    Some of the stuff Layton and Ditzy Greenie May were proposing during the election is happening or about to happen, its called a Recession.
    Perhaps they have some answers on how we’ll pay for all their social programs,and handouts when the engines that drive the economy are shut down.

  10. This is indeed rather disturbing. The sad fact is that the US government, by trying to boost homeownership in the name of social justice, created the current financial mess. We need to make sure these baffoons don’t get any headway in Canada.

  15. Its the “Canadian curse” at work again. No matter what. From the ACLU to ACORN we end up with not only our own wacko socalists, but our American cousins as well. You know whats funny. Everyone I grew up with knew & where taught more about the US system, memorize the States with the Provinces. While learning all the State capitols & Canadian Provincial ones.I remember even memorizing the US Constitution with the Bill of rights . In Alberta that was what we had adopted as well.
    Of course Canada didnt have the vile document called the Charter, created by socialist lawyers yet. I just wish it would go the same way with there seperation of powers, voting for a PM seperatly from the party & an elected Senate.
    This is the only thing thats gonna save the US from our fate with PET if they have an Obama win. I might add an American friend wrote me to tell how ACORN was involved in the last election. Here is the post without her name.

  20. Whatever you do, forget the fact that the middle class was at its peak when unions were powerful. Forget that unions “invented” the weekend. Forget the fact that union workers make about 30% more than non-union.
    And as for ACORN. Just forget the fact that those phoney forms WERE ACTUALLY REPORTED BY ACORN ITSELF.
    And that the fake registrations DO NOT EQUAL VOTER FRAUD, because the person who turns up to vote actually has to produce ID.
    What is more scary is the fact that the GOP is desperate to purge way, way, waaaaaaaaaay more voters than could possibly be fakes. Meaning they are actually trying to steal people’s right to vote.
