    The New Brunswick Liberal Party is trying to foist a carbon tax on NBers with the assistance of their media friends who just happen to own all the media in the province.
    This national campaign is perfectly timed and will, hopefully, assist NBers in seeing this tax grab for what it is.

  13. Interesting that the feds have (or are about to) add a new compartment within the IRB (Immigration Refugee Board) to deal with appeals.
    The IRB, like the CHRC, should be in the process of being gutted, not expanded. What we don’t need are more politically correct, patronage appointed people further adding to the already convoluted appeal processes open to the really bad guys. Like Wu in BC, like Tran in AB, like the 16 year old in Edmonton wanted for murder in Nashville, like…. on it goes.

The government began negotiations with Petro Fina and its stock rose and rose and rose. Finally, the government closed the Petro Fina deal, got the chain of gas stations, paid Petro Fina big dollars and our government got more debt.
    Mrs. Trudeau got rich on the shares she held and Pierre was very happy to see his Momma get rich because he was the heir of her estate. A number of years later, Momma died and Pierre got rich too.
    The documents concerning the sale were sealed for fifty years as state secret.
    Pierre Trudeau, our CBC created national hero, was a crook.

    My personal favourite from CBC. We don’t want to pay $500 each time HNIC theme played, so we’ll spend (taxpayers) $100,000 to make a new theme. The sheer idiocy of CBC never ceases to amaze me.

  26. Watching QP with you know who. Main topic the hearings tomorrow re Mad Max. What do the ndp and liberals want to find out from the girl tomorrow-who saw the documents, what is in them etc. If these contain secret info that threaten our nat. security why are the libs and dippers asking for the info to be made public.
    I have more concern for our national security when I see dippers and liberals marching supporting groups with ties to terrorist organizations in the middle east. What are they getting for their support-hey, they got libs to vote against the terrorism bill. What else, will they get Dion’s debt paid off.
    Love the way giggles still refers to the mess as a scandal, and being told that cdns are very concerned about it. Yah right.
    I am more concerned with the missing millions liberals stole. Give it back.

  27. New Driver? . . . Beware, do not lose ten years of income!
    You have the main drag right of way. Some pokey driver pulls out of a side street with little time to spare.
    You are annoyed, offended in fact. You keep your foot on the gas. Mistake!
    Always take your foot to the brake and be prepared to avoid a collision . . . Always.
    If you hit the driver, [ who you think is in the wrong ], you will always pay dearly and for a long time. Unless they jump into your path within ten to twenty feet that is. And a traffic analyst has to determine that.
    Insurance companies, govts included { ICBC ], care less about who is in the right. They aim to spread the blame 60/40 so they spend none of their own money.
    Usually the driver who slams the other car gets the thrill of paying the 60%.
    In other words the *hitter* is deemed to be unable to control their vehicle and so pays the biggest penalty.
    Rule No.1. Avoid the *dipstick* in front of you at all costs. Your foot belongs over the brake pedal, NOT the GAS PEDAL when you have been, cut off, offended, annoyed or fingered in traffic.
    Don*t spend the next ten years of your income on some jerk. Let it go! He will meet some other driver who insists on their *right of way* soon enough.
    Years of daily Vancouver traffic rush driving and still a clear record. Not only saved paying fines but also saved a fortune in discount insurance rates. Enjoy your driving. Don*t blow it away.
