Blog Notes

A note to readers who commented on this May 22nd post titled “Return Of The Orchard Davidians (Bumped)”.
Due to a technical problem too complicated to explain here, adjustments were made that have resulted in the comments being unpublished. This, I sincerely regret. The technical problem did not originate at SDA, but stemmed from an incoming link from a site widely known for its frequent intellectual outages and related traffic meter malfunctions.
Actually, the change took place over 24 hours ago, but I did not mention it before now due to time constraints.
And because, mischief is important.

  1. I kinnda wondered where my comment went to. This being your blog I figured you had good reason to pull it as well as a right. Didn’t think much past that. To bad we have to endure idiots who only purpose in life seems a craving for affection or recognition by destruction.
These are sad people, to be pitied for the eternal childlessness of their subsistence. They never grow up till five to midnight.
To those who did this I have only this oft used line to descibe them:
β€œHis mother should have thrown him away and kept the stork.” –
    Mae West

  2. Unfortunately, the far left believe that vandalism and assault against those on the right of centre is simply another form of free expression.

  3. an intellectual outage.
    First BCL, then warnout.
And I just thought they were too stupid to be “intellectual.”

  4. isn’t it curious how it is always the political left who engage in the censorship of opinion….
Orchard is a progressive and as such he wants to crush conservative thought in Canada….
Orchard and his people are mean spirited pri*@s who believe in big government and the erosion of personal freedoms….
    Orchard can kiss my ass

  5. Suppose I should spell it out. Look at the “incoming link” from this post, then go to the link (in this post) “this May 22nd post”. Go to the link at that post “Update – James replies in the comments”.
    Does that help?

  6. Too funny. Kinsella is still a chump, getting his ass kicked every time by Kate.

  7. I followed the links and understand, (I think), who the players are, but pardon my density for not seeing what the ‘mischief’ is. Ah well, any day the notorious panderer to anti-evangelical bigotry is japed is a good day, even if I’m not in on the punch line.

  8. Ural, I noticed the same thing on Saturday morning. I don’t know enough about servers and computers but the fact that someone could hack into a bloggers comments and redirect it to something else is very eye opening.
Next thing you know we’ll be reading about instances were ordinary, technologically challenged citizens are having their wi-fi IP addresses hijacked by nefarious types in order to plant incriminating racists comments on another’s website in order to sue them for monetary gain, all in collabaration with a quasi-judicial-governmental agency. Nah, that stuff only happens in Tom Clancy novels, right?

  9. OK. Kate redirected that blog post (because WK linked to it) to his band. He is calling himself and his friends white trash etc. WK is being made his own prop by Kate.
Only the site owner (if not hacked) can redirect things like entire blog posts (or the entire site). Just as a note … when you see something like http://www.tinyurl … tinyurl redirects to the page.

  10. So WK didn’t hack into the comments redirecting it to his SFH pic, Kate did it because he said Cherniak was geting support from white trash/ white supremacists which leads to the pic of SFH, WK’s band, yes?
I took from Kate’s explanation that it was from something WK did.

  11. Glenn,
“mischief is important”. Yes – you got it right now. There is always a risk to linking to anything – if it’s a picture, post, entire site … the link or the post or the picture etc can be changed.
Also note that Kate did a screen capture on WK’s post … not the link to the post … WK can change his post at any time also … a link would have no meaning.

  12. RW,
I suspect you posted to the wrong post. However, I was listening to talk radio in Vancouver a couple of days ago and they had a “expert” on. I suspect he was a true expert because he couldn’t explain it. He did say that right and left feet did show up at different beaches … like left foot beaches … right foot beaches.
Gore, Hansen, Suzuki, etc of course would attribute this to AGW.

  13. Rolling Intellectual Outages ….
Now could someone please explain why these libs think having Orchard in their camp is a GOOD THING?
    Sheesh………………. πŸ™‚
