They need there hard earned dollars to go to the NDP’s Useless Blackhole, Bottomless pits Programs that what Canadians want.( Thats What Jack Wants)
    **Dion Has stated that when he is PM he will “RAISE” the GST because Economist told him that is good for the country & it will pay for their useless backhole, Bottomless Pit programs.

  7. I’m starting to believe that, with the Liberals abstaining on all these votes, that WE should withold their pay cheques. They’re obviously not doing their job, so why the hell should we pay them.

  27. Quite astonishing that all things considered that the Libs cannot seem to fall below 28% in public opinion polls. Why this is is a story that the MSM is avoiding.
    At least Conservatives had the integrity to withdraw thier support from their party (Mulroney PCs) when the leadership drifted too far from conservative ideals.
    Apparently it does not matter what the Libs do, don’t do, stand for, or don’t stand for. Their membership will circle the wagons, close their eyes, plug their ears and go la,la,la,la,la.
    Lib supporters are apparently tribalistic, or ignorant, or maybe a bit of both.

  32. Can you imagine a politician saying he will campaign on raising taxes? It just boggles the mind.
    I watched Newman tonight and he said Baril Belanger wanted to vote against the mini budget but was told he would be expelled from caucus if he did. Belanger was not in his seat for the vote. We will see what happens because it was a whipped vote. As well the Quebec caucus was urging Dion to vote against the mini budget. There is a showdown coming in the not too distant future. The Liberals are not going to sit there and become irrelevant and a laughing stock in the country. They may have a dud leader but they are a proud bunch.

  34. Ward…I hate to keep blaming the media…but the bias is too blatant. After the throne speech, it was all about Dion. After this ‘mini budget, it’s all about Dion. The masses that aren’t paying closer attention haven’t a clue and probably believe Parliament is all about Dion.
    That’s a freaky ‘new’ ghost costume Dion’s wearing…can’t even see his pale eyes..his faithful will swear his IS wearing clothes.

  39. He will raise the GST … that from the party who said they would get rid of it if elected.
    Dion won’t vote because the Conservatives aren’t playing fair. He would prefer they get into a bidding war in offering the greatest number of programs that will serve Canadians so well.
    I prefer, like most Canadians, to keep more of my own money and I will use it to serve myself.
    I also note the two major TV networks and local Liberal CKNW radio push the idea the Harper still can’t win a majority. I think he already has … all we are waiting for is the opportunity to vote.

  40. This sucks. I’ve been looking forward to a Harper-Dion election debate for nearly a year now. It’s never going to happen. Steffi thinks he’s biding his time for the right moment to pull the plug. What he’s really doing is biding time for Rae & Iggy to get their LPC leadership review called in January.
    It’s over for Mr. Kyoto. Even Lizzie May has left him for Jacko.
