However, the UN will be discussing border issues this week, I think, and that will be brought up. The Syrians are ratcheting up the pressure, but with the attack against UN troops in the south, they are, as one UN official put it, playing with fire.”
If Israel sent the IDF three kilometers into Lebanon and started digging trenches and building bunkers it would make news all over the world. But Syria does it and everyone shrugs. Hardly anyone even knows it happened at all.

Muslims are also effectively driving out innocent Christians from lands they have occupied for millenia -- another non-story. The reason: there is an understood right for a country to be Muslim, but no corresponding right for a country to be Christian.
Many people probably think of Lebanon as a Muslim country. It is not. But, given the impulse to appease Islam, probably one day will be.
In a similar manner, many think of the Palestinian territory as Muslim. It isn't, or, at least, wasn't, but Christians are being driven out, while the world twiddles its thumbs and nods with approval.
Well, at least the Syrians will not have to worry about attacks from the Hezzies now........ oh wait, wrong target country.
