Judging only by my limited exposure to local drive time AM radio, it now seems ok to use the word "black" when discussing this and similar incidents. Michael Coren just "went for it" right after the shooting and that seems to have taken some of the curse off it.

Half the black (and white) callers say: "We need fathers, we need fewer baby mamas" etc while half the callers blame The Man, The System and the latest, Public Housing.

Never mind that Toronto just plowed under Regent Park (where I saw more satellite dishes per household than any other apt complex in the city... Today's "poor" enjoy riches the Sun King never dreamed of...). No, Public Housing is the source of all evil. Liberals who advocated Public Housing for decades are now saying this without any detectable trace of irony or guilt.

Now, I don't like Public Housing either. Pay your own damn rent, I say. But here's the next taboo question:

Stated on the CBC news this morning re the sister...dot now what it means othe than she has been charged with possession on an illegal handgun and ammunition.

After that nothing has been said.....there were 700 charges laid from those raids....and the undermining has begun.....the coke seized wasnt from this raid but one in april, how much is the overtime, how much did it cost....all leading to the question why is this being done or why isnt there money for other things...like b bal courts

Hwever the report also talked about how happy many of the residents are. It is imperative to identify and affect your supporters and if that is the local older mothers and grandmothers then that is exactly what needs to be done, but you have to listen to them when they call for other things as well.

Necole Small, 25, is charged with possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, a police source confirmed last night.

Small works at Homes First, a charitable housing service.

Manners, who lived in the Jane-Finch neighbourhood, was killed May 24 on the second floor of C.W. Jefferys high school where he was a Grade 9 student.

Two 17-year-old boys are charged in Manners' slaying.

Crown lawyers delayed the bail hearings indicating they were not ready to deal with the large number of accused.

Family members and defence lawyers reacted angrily to the news, asking why resources hadn't been allocated to handle the case.

"There are hundreds of family members concerned for their loved ones and of course they're frustrated to not have any answers as to what's going on and why their loved ones won't be coming home tonight [Thursday]," said lawyer Sean Bernstein.

The way I see it there are a few solutions. One, put these kids in military training to teach them discipline. Then a bootcamp-disciplined education.

Two, do not allow any more Jamaicans to immigrate to Canada.

Three, break up the ghettos; the tribal mentality, dilute the 'gangsta' culture by spreading them out throughout Canada, as far from the border as possible.

If they're 'entitled' to welfare, then taxpayers are entitled to determine where they live.
