The girlie in the Wonder Bread wrapper could stand to lose a couple pounds.

Beyond that, as I've said many times, the biggest problem I have with Arabs is they don't treat their wimmen right.

This seems to me to be a rather innocuous example of how young North Americans of Muslim faith are interweaving aspects of Western culture with their religious beliefs, without abandoning either. Leaving aside your snide remarks about Ms. Arbab's particular fashion sense, what exactly is your problem with this, Kathy?

You realize of course that these women are already sinning and should be stoned according to the serious Imams. In a religion that has young girls maimed or killed because they dared to wear makeup or nail polish, these western faithful are just asking for the vengence of Allah.
Will a modern, western style of islam catch on and bring the religion of peace into the twentieth century? I doubt it but it would be nice.

Well, as ridiculous as it looks, at least it's a start. After all, western society didn't exactly transition overnight from sunday dresses to string bikinis.
