Shopping...one of the new religions.

Headlining substanceless trends and cultural narcissism is so much more easy than putting your ass in the grass and reporting objectively on world current events first hand...for these we simply specualte according to out political agenda.

Why is print media subscriber sales down?

..while teenage girls are wicked mean, they aren't likely to cut your head off with a rusty spoon.

Also, They actually have sympathetic full time professionals write about this stuff (fashion), rather than half baked amateur "war correspondants".

Hopelessly slanted journalism. Girls are grossly over-represented (uber-represented?) and there isn't a single picture of a gangsta type picking up a shiny new Glock.

But what else would I expect?

daddy's little girls.

Theres a book out about something called FARK. A new term for what is portrayed as news, or news worthy. But its really crap. Non-news or filler.
This girl thing seems a good example.
