"The problem with election polling in Canada (Manitoba edition)"
"...Given the conventional wisdom that the NDP will cruise, odds are most of the 14% who refuse to answer support the PCs (or, for a few, the Libs), but don't want to tell the pollster. As for undecideds, in legislative elections, they tend to break for the opposition - as high as 3 to 1 in some cases. If these trends translate across the 49th, Manitobans and election watchers will be in for quite the surp[r]ise on Tuesday."

Lebanese government orders army to finish off Fatah Islam
Reuters ^ | May 22, 2007
The Lebanese government has authorized the army to "finish off" Islamic militants fighting Lebanese troops for the third straight day Tuesday in a refugee camp in the country's north. The decision by the Cabinet of Prime Minister Fouad Siniora reflected the government's determination to pursue the Islamic militants who staged attacks on Lebanese troops on Sunday and Monday, killing 29 soldiers. Some 20 militants have also been killed, as well as an undetermined number of civilians....- http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/browse

Four more years of Dolton's public sector unionism kleptocracy will tank Onterrible's productive private sector past recovery. If he is elected, Alberta will outstrip Ontario economically within 5 years.
Any one who reads the economic reviews has seen that for over 3 years now eny economists with their ear to the ground in Ontario have been saying there is a job crisis and industrial melt down happening in that province...it's bleeding jobs and industry to China and points south. It's main city TO is bleeding red ink from mismanagement and has infrastructure decay so vast it needs a federal bail out or user taxes that will evacuate business from the city.

We need a whole lot more detail as regards Qureshi - the young Canadian who was picked up in Agstn recently, particularly as things are getting very out of control again in Lebanon.
It seems the word is out not to be talking so little has appeared in the MSM but there is nothing like silence to fuel dissonance.
More on Chinese poisonings due to anti-freeze in toothpaste.
The article is worth reading closely as some of the quotes are unbelieveable.
One example:"Danyang City Success Household Chemical, however, said that while it did not export to Panama, it has used diethylene glycol in its toothpaste, and that the government does not have a clear regulation on how much CAN be added."

It seems to me these are designed only to test the progress of the "progressive" liberal media's latest of their ongoing efforts at driving Canada ever leftward (a job that is never done, apparently) so that they can massage and adjust their media message accordingly..."
Re PMSHs trip to Afgan. The g&m has some vicious comments in their 4th thread on it. Several mentions of Goodale warning the Taliban he was coming on last Sunday's QP. His words were something like, the PM will try to change the channel with phot ops in Afgan. Change the channel is repeated in several comments. Did he deliberately leak said info. The media knew about the trip but were told it was secret. Fife works for ctv, Fife in on the trip, did he tell Goodale, and he made an innocent comment. Sounds fishy to me. Goodale leaked, on purpose, the trip, just like he leaked info re the Income Trust. Hopefully, in the next election he will leak many votes and be defeated. We do not need such treasonous people in the HofC. Voters in Regina, wake up.
