Barely out of diapers Cherniak was in full prep mode for his run at the trough when he pitched his blog readers for contributions to pay his way to the Liberal bun fest in Montreal last December.

You left out the paragraph before that puts that in context. It was criticism of the practices of some Mohels in New York City who have a peculiar method of performing circumcisions. After making the incision, they suck off of the foreskin with their mouths. In so doing, they have given babies genital herpes and have even killed some.

So when I said we shouldn't tolerate religion when it lacks consent, I mean that we shouldn't tolerate the actions sponsored by religion when these actions lack consent. I.e. female circumcision, forced marriage, et al.

Oh and I completely stand by the assertion that Elizabeth May and the Greens are crypto-fascists. Though we need to tolerate them in an open society - we don't need to afford them any respect.

Liberals lie cheat and swindle to win the war and Churniak is no different.

I've also linked to the progressive bloggers and the CBC. Face it. I have low standards.

That said, every once in a blue moon he says something that's not totally stupid.

Jason is more than a bit self-deluded. I like how he nominated himself for all those "blog awards" and has yet to garner any significant interest. He couldn't even get his mommy to vote for him.

I like the self-nomination tact though, then the immediate credit as being the nominee. Text book narcissist doing what they are best at - lots of vanity, lots of cheating, sadly, foiled by the transparency of the internet.

I don't go to Cherniak, never have, so what I have to say I say out of interest rather than defending someone I don't know.
