A Palestinian spokes-terrorist says they're ready to die as martyrs:
A spokesman for the Fatah al-Islam militant group said that members of the group were "ready to die" as the Lebanese Army resumed shelling of militant positions Thursday evening, ending a truce that had largely held since Tuesday afternoon. "We are ready to die," Abu Salim Taha told The Daily Star in a telephone interview.Well as long as they're ready, and the Lebanese army is willing to kill them it looks like the solution to this problem is obvious.
It is remarkable that an Arab army can hit a refugee camp with artillery without provoking any Jenin-massacre style hysteria in the media, though. It really would be nice if western armies were given a fraction of the leeway when they fight similar terrorist groups.
Personally I think the approach of the Lebanese Army is absolutely right:
We hold Fatah al-Islam responsible for everything that ... might take place if it resumes attacks on our positions and continues to use Palestinian civilians as human shields,"Quite right, and western governments should support them in their efforts. Lebanon has enough problems of their own without having to deal with Palestinian terrorist groups, too. They've already lost 32 soldiers to these terrorists.

Well said. And where is the U.N. condemnation of the attacks on the perpetually disenfranchised, oppressed "Palestinians"? Oh, right, it's only Israel who is condemnable at the U.N.
Sounds like they are embracing suicide but don't have the guts to do it for their beliefs so they now want someone else to do it for them and this makes them out to be a Martyr and hero to little Ahmed or Jihad Johnny.
How about having them all go to some island and drink the Cool-Aid in a mass protest to show their stance on Islam meaning Peace and how they oppose killing civilians.
I have always said the the main problem with the war on Islamic terrorism, Palestinian terrorists, Arab terrorists, home grown terrorists, Jihadists, The Taliban terrorist freedom-fighters, etc etc ... whatever you want to call them ...
Is simply that we are not killing enough of them fast and ruthlessly enough. That is the only thing they understand.
We are soft, stupid and vulnerable. They get it. We have to do more and do it fast.
If we stop all efforts against them, they will simply ramp up their efforts to kill us. That is a fact Jack. The left doesn't get it and that is a big problem for the rest of us.
I think it will have to be the non Jihadist Arabs and the Jews who will have to take the lead in this war for our freedom as the Lebanese and Israelis are presently trying to do.
I wish them well. I hope we can jump in with both feet before it's too late.

Four Saudis Killed in Lebanon Clashes

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, May 27--Four Saudi nationals of the Fatah Al-Islam militant group are among those killed in clashes with Lebanese troops in a Palestinian camp of north Lebanon, an Arab newspaper reported on Sunday.
The Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Abdul Aziz Khoja, told Al-Hayat that up to now four Saudis have been killed in the ongoing clashes between the Lebanese army and the Fatah Al-Islam group, but they have yet to be identified. Lebanese troops have encircled Nahr Al-Bared refugee camp since May 20 when fighting broke out with the tiny Fatah Al-Islam militia that has now killed 78 people, forced thousands to flee and trapped thousands more civilians.
Almost 25 Fatah Al-Islam members, including two of its leaders, have been killed and dozens taken prisoner in the confrontation.
"We have learnt there are Saudis, Syrians, Lebanese, Algerians and people from other Arab nationals amongst Fatah Al-Islam, and they follow Al-Qaeda's ideology," he said...-
