Dumping Stephane Dion might seem like the obvious thing to do, but if I were a Liberal I’d certainly think twice before pushing for that.
There are only forty or fifty — maybe sixty at most — Liberal MPs who could do as capable a job as Mr. Dion.
The numbers just aren’t there yet. The LPC should wait until every Liberal MP is blatantly more capable than Mr. Dion before they even think of making any rash moves. And in the meantime they need understand that whoever replaces him won’t be a Stephane Dion.

While I have not been a Liberal supporter for ten years or so, the complete deflation of the Liberal Party seems somehow Un-Canadian. Liberalism before Trudeau seemed constructive and often wise. The last 13 years have been a disaster in fraud and corruption, total lack of ethics and the Auditor General*s inability to discover fraud until it is reported in the media.

In the Philippines where gun ownership is theoretically highly restricted, a private permit to possess a firearm is a highly coveted status symbol. So the Liberals are in fact sponging members from the Greens. So they are Greens posing as Liberals.
