  4. From the photo it’s doubtful this guy could mastermind a camel caravan to the local watering hole – and back. He does look like a drunk who spent too much time in a Turkish bath, though.
    But…this confession now clears the US government of any lingering 9/11 conspiracy theories, yet I’m wondering if Mohammed also confessed to bringing down the third building at the WTC site?

  5. skip – a conspiracy theory remains as long as people will get their emotional kicks out of it. Conspiracy theories are never rebutted by facts, by data, by evidence, by the truth. They don’t emerge out of such and they don’t operate within such.

    Conducted in secrecy in a military tribunal through clandestine drug-induced confession techniques gives me no resolution as to what happened on 9/11.

    Where’s the CBC on reporting this admission that links the Arar’s to Hams and terrorism funding, but no , the CBC reports Courts records by a Jihadist that admits to terrorism links as “Alleged” and “Claimed” to be behind the suicide bombings.

    But seriously, Gitmo is full of very dangerous psychos. Hair-brained conspiracy theories and misguided human rights concerns aside, high security prisons are the best places for those types of nutbars. I wouldn’t want them back out in society planning their next 9/11.

    I don’t think that even Queer Eye for the Straight Guy could help him out. But, then, maybe that’s how they cracked him, a cameo redo segment with threats to broadcast it on Al Jazeera.

  36. I used to wonder why I dislike the Brits in such a visceral way and reading the proceedings and transcript of this transparent fraud makes me understand why. It is like Belfast and the RUC stations. Also like the camps where they then took prisoners, the RUC and their British military handlers. They would beat the living daylights out of you, or take some days to turn your brain into hamburger with “ill treatment” as the British judges would say, then they would clean you up and take you to a room where a Brit. cvil servant calm and formal at a tiny card table would say: “I understand you wish to make a statement.”
    Now this Arab guy is undoubtedly one of the bad guys , and he seems to be soldiering on after 4 years of solitary confinement. He confirms one’s worst fears: these guys mean business and their faith gives them a lot of strength. On the other hand he would probably confess to saying rude things to Santa Clause if that would help his cause, and the American military look like the torturers, liars, thieves and scoundrels all such killers do. And they are the guys on our side, and they believe we are that stupid. And they trot out this prisoner at such a convenient time for Bush. And they say he just confessed a few days ago. And oh yes, they will hold back details for one day till they tell the family of his victim in one case.
    It is to hold one’s nose. We are in a gangster movie.
