Must be the only GP exec with a conscience. Live the green lie!
stunning truth from the interview:
burning coal (ie not the politically incorrect nuke power) releases copious amounts of radioactive RADON gas that is also released in the mining process.
hmmm. now what ???? …….
$= Thats what!
Wasn’t Greenpeace promoting Michael Moore heavily at one time? I mean, why else would they be handing out all those SAVE THE WHALE bumperstickers?
“Whales” you say? Oh. Sorry. It was an honest mistake.
great, and here in latte land, premier mcidiot will not even consider the nuclear option, and he is now backtracking on his promise to close some of the coal plants because our economy would collapse if he did….moonbat/librano idiots voted this dork into power based on hot air and lies…..oh ya, I forgot, we’ll all have shiny windmills on our lawn, drink rain water, and run naked through the woods… MOONBAT IDIOTS!
I liked his comment about, “there is no word called consensus in science”, or something like that. So, just because 800 scientists are telling us it’s a consensus, doesn’t mean it’s true.
“oh ya, I forgot, we’ll all have shiny windmills on our lawn, drink rain water, and run naked through the woods…”
I’d vote for nekkid women running around my lawn. I surely would.
I remember interviewing Moore when he was still with greenpeace years back. He seemed like a sensible guy, even seemed a little embarassed about some of the greenpeace tactics, but said they got headlines and that was important.
When i found out he’d left that group it made sense, he was just too reasonable for that crew.
Very insightful…and he touches on the public relations dilemma…conservative scientists with crew cuts are not very adept at getting the message out, but the rich socialists of the entertainment world, who have no scientific background, have the eyes and ears of the worshipping masses tuned in to their agendas.
I really like the comment….watermelon-green on the outside red on the inside, just like all our wonderfull liberals
Im getting calls to sign up on the fixed hydro rate.
the topic of smart meters came up.
is the dolt mcguilty intent on forcing us to use these things by 2008 etc?
did they come to their senses and opt for the european model which DOESNT require some massive monolithic unreliable central database ?
The carbon bastards have tastier sandwiches at their board meetings
Just checked out the g&m- they have another poll that is maybe going wrong.
where do you put the environment in the next election.
at the very top 19%
top 3 24%
top 5 12%
not that big an issue 45%
5070 votes at 12.11 am, Alberta time.
So where is all the panic coming from other than
suzuki and the cbc.
All would do well to be very wary of praising anyone who advocates “sustainable development” (as does Mr. Moore on his WIKI bio) as a vehicle for anything but slavery. Everyone’s fave globalist godfather Maurice Strong is the intellectual/policy framework fountainhead of the whole sustainable development movement.
For a detailed examination of the whole UN Agenda 21/Sustainable development question check out freedom21.org.
I am not sure what the exact truth is here, but when you see as many red flags around an issue as there are around “sustainable development” it’s time to get off someone else’s bandwagon and do some real research on your own.
