we dont , but the MSM does.

Well, I can see from the first two comments that the Canadian MSM is still keeping up their high level of journalistic credibility...

adolph said it first and proceeded to prove the adage; there's no such thing as bad publicity or words to that effect.

especially public figures.

joe who? was the death sentence on clark's lackluste albeit protracted career.

furthermore, you think all those 'starlet/pamela anderson/whoever caught having sex on tape' are accidental? HA !!

a sucker born every minute.

regarding ms turdeau, her publicity stunt was at the stones concert they gave as part of Keith Richards' heroin bust rehab.

I found a copy and took it to work and stuffed it in a 9 X 12 brown envelope labelled 'look inside for the great canadian beaver' it provided laughs for the whole office the rest of the week.

Another willing Librano$ scammer goes down.

How many more to be exposed?

Librano$: A Liberal Pyramid Scheme: Chretien at the apex/peak/summit of the triangle; Martin below Chretien; then, Martin at the top; AdScam was the brand; bribery, theft, corruption-seduction was the scam.

The virus started with Trudeau; the virus metastasized into the piratical AdScam-Librano$.

Many Canadians participated/wallowed in the loot.

Ron Stewart, ex-Ottawa Rough Riders hero, was one of many Canadians who sold their souls to Liberal- Mammon.

How many would like Paul Martin to start his speech with, I AM SORRY FOR ALL THE THEFT AND CORRUPTION DURING THE PAST 13 YEARS, THAT IS STILL BEING DISCOVERED TODAY, AND I URGE OUR NEW LEADER TO NOT ALLOW ANY LIBERAL SITTING AS AN MP DURING THAT TIME TO RUN FOR OFFICE AGAIN. But, I imagine CPC backroom guys are preparing election ads showing a football full of money being passed thru the air and caught by you know who. What is with the liberals getting new hairdos. It's new ideas and honesty they need, not beautyshops and barbers. There will be a huge split in the conservative party after next saturday and it will be good for the Alliance Party. We will not elect Taft liberals or NDPers. That split, along with the split in the liberal party after their leadership vote should make for interesting times in Canada. All those losers who are still MP's will be expected to work with the new guy, and if they don't get a great job, the infighting will begin again. Anyone seen Scott lately, I am sure he is there. If Dinning wins, there will have to be a by-election to get him elected to take over, same for Rae or Kennedy.

Sheila Fraser is Just Scratching the Surface

Political Criminals Have a Lower Sense of Morals, but a Higher Sense of Values

This is textbook criminal science dogma.

Morals are concepts of right and wrong,

while values state what is important & how important it is.

Anyone who has accidentally had the misfortune of bumping into an outlaw biker's "hog" understands the high sense of values this person has.

One is also aware that such a person would have no issues regarding adherence to the Criminal Code vis-a-vis retribution.

There is something to be admired in that, but we wouldn't want criminals running our country.

Unfortunately, according to Sheila Fraser,

it is criminals who have been running our country

for the past 10 years.

Liberals will shout from the rooftops the value of human rights, but have no problems with white collar crime and widespread corruption throughout the bureaucracy they were entrusted with.

If you jailed everyone who commmitted white collar crime under the Liberal regime, there would be almost no one left to run Canada. Conservatives may have a higher sense of morals, but they too are riddled with white-collared criminals who wouldn't think twice about stealing from the public purse.

Instead of the current regime going on a witch hunt, it may wish to have one of those "Truth & Reconciliation Commissions" that they had in South Africa. Give whistleblowers the protection they need and amnesty to the white collar criminals at large for a year or so if they choose to come forward. Then, after every rock is turned, checks and balances can be put in place to make sure those gravy sucking pigs in government, crown corporations, & the civil service don't rob us blind.

Maybe Sheila Fraser should consider running for PM one day. She is the only person in government that we can trust. ...-

I've said it before, and I'll sat it again. The Canadian people need to start seeing these funds returned one way or another and we need to see these people hanging high.

This dude will likely only have to return a part of the money he stole from us. What should happen is he should be given the maximum sentence for theft of that amount. $325,000 is enough money to pay for our governor general to have a party for crying out loud.

Just listened to Bill Grahams son praise his father and the party. Wonder why he made so many sly remarks about Republicans instead of all the crooked liberals in the crowd. This guy is a journalist, no wonder they are so despised. It was sad watching him waiting for laughs and they didn't come. Now, Bill G is slamming Harper. What has that got to do with the new leader of the liberals. Sounds more like an election campaign. If that is how they plan to campaign next election, they have already lost. And, Graham said, we are here to elect the next PM of Canada. Should be an interesting wkend, Bush bashing and Harper bashing, the delegates will have a difficult time deciding who to vote for. Now, he just bashed Layton.

Stewart's hired mouthpieces speak from their teeth; disgusting lawyers speaking for another disgusting lawyer.

STEWART'S LAWYERS SLAM FRASER FOR 'PILLORYING'
Lawyers for Ron Stewart slammed Auditor General Sheila Fraser Wednesday, saying their client has been a victim of "inflammatory public pronouncements" and "unfair public pillorying."

In a statement, David W. Scott and Peter K. Doody said Fraser's inquiry and report about Stewart — who has been accused of misspending while he was ombudsman for federal prison inmates — was "fundamentally unfair. (national newswatch)

My understanding is that Policy #45 proposed by a BC delagaion will be debated on the convention floor.
I am curious how it will will fare.

Policy no. 45 reads: "WHEREAS the current law discriminates against unmarried same-sex couples by not permitting unmarried persons under 18 to legally engage in consensual anal intercourse; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Liberal Party of Canada urge the Federal Government of Canada to bring the age of consent for anal intercourse in equal pairing with other forms of sexual activity."

The age of sexual consent for heterosexual intercourse in Canada is 14.

HAHA. Peter Doody. That is the best name for a lawyer I have ever heard. That translates to Dick S##t doesn't it?? Hope I don't get sued now.

Stewart is feeling bad for getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar. That is so sad. Well...as long as he feels bad I guess we should leave him alone. NOT!! We want our money back, and we want to see you in jail!!

NEXT!!

Went to the advance poll for the second ballot in the choice for the new Premier of Alberta.  One advance polling station for all of Calgary plus the Foothills!  I wonder what genius thought that was a good idea?

From the comments I was able to catch while standing in line (the polling station was stupid busy at 7:45 P.M. when I went in, but the line-up was gone fifteen minutes later), I would say it sounded like Dinning's got a lot of advance people out -- a number from the arts community who've become "instant Tories" for the purposes of voting for Jim (the only candidate pledging support for the arts).

Don't you just love single-issue voters?  Boil the complexities of an entire campaign down to whether or not a candidate supports one narrow tranche of the full spectrum of problems and opportunities facing the province.

Sadly, once again, it appears we'll get the Premier we deserve rather than the Premier that we need.

In case of an emergencey, and one needs to induce vomitting, keep a copy of Susan Delacourt's T-Star article handy. No, not to barf on. To read. Pravda in it's hey-day is not a stretch at all.

Speaking of Pravda(english)on-line, it can be quite informative,.. as compared to Canada's MSM.

Did anyone catch Dean's speech to the convention. Heard a little of it and it seemed the same one he gave the democrats a few months ago, and repeated on all the talk shows.

Brandon Langhjelm calls BS on Dean's speech:

"If it wasn't ironic enough that he's American.

First off, we saw that American, the darling of the "netroots" movement, introduced by an advisor to the Carlyle Group.

Then said American began to talk about the value of cross-border partnership and "common ideals," at the convention of a party legandary for its anti-Americanism.

He talked about not yielding "a single region or province," at the convention of the party of Scott "Alberta can blow me" Reid and Pierre Trudeau's middle finger.

He talked about the value of small donations, at the convention of the party of big money. The party that gutted the fundraising rules in the Accountability Act.

He talked about sticking to principles, at the convention of a party notorious for its lack of principles.

He talked about how post-secondary education and health care should be available for all, at the convenion of the party that launched the biggest cuts in transfers for health care and post-secondary education in Canadian history.

He talked about environmental stewardship, at the convention of a party that has a worse record on greenhouse gases than the Bush administration.

He talked about a mutual belief in honest and open government, at the convention of the party of Adscam.

And he talked about campaigning on "hope and promise", at the convention of the party that ran its last two campaigns on fear and lies.

In short, Mr. Dean must be as ignorant of Canadian politics as any other American. Because anyone who understands the Liberal Party of Canada, knows "everything that guy just said is bullsh*t."

langhjelmletter.blogspot.com/2006/11/calling-bullshit.html

And yet they will form the next government Bob.

Isn't democracy amazing?

The party of Liberal MP Denis Coderre? Coderre, who marched in the "We Are All Hezbollah Now" parade in Montreal in August, 2006?

Coderre is the national campaign co-chairman of M. Ignatieff's bid to become leader of the Canadian Liberal Party. Ignatieff hopes to become the next Prime Minister of Canada.

Note the ominous words: "open-ended sit-in". Note the words: "a bid to topple"; " on the basis of their constitutional rights,".

It's a coup attempt by Hezbollah to change the government of Lebanon. It's not an election.

It's Coderre's anti-democracy; Ignatieff supports Hezbollah.

NDP Handing Out Sponsorship Maps to Liberals
Josh Pringle
Thursday, November 30, 2006

Young New Democrats are handing out the "Map to the Scars" at the Liberal leadership convention.

The red pamphlets for Liberal delegates from across Canada show the way to key locations in Montreal connected to the sponsorship scandal.

The map includes the site for Justice John Gomery's hearings into the affair and Restaurant Frank, where key players in the program exchanged envelopes of cash.

Most of the key locations are within a few blocks of the Montreal convention centre, where the Liberal gathering continues through the weekend.

Imams Gone Wild-The untold story of the holy

sheikh who attacked a Delta flight attendant.

FrontPageMagazine.com ^ | November 30, 2006 | Paul Sperry

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is demanding Congress investigate US Airway's removal last week of six imams from one of its flights. The Muslim-rights group claims the imams, who were behaving suspiciously, posed no threat.

It's "very, very inappropriate to treat religious leaders that way," a spokesman fumed.

According to CAIR, imams are as harmless as Buddhist monks and deserve no less respect. Tell that to flight attendant Kimberly Banducci.

According to police reports I've obtained, the Delta Air Lines veteran was assaulted by a Muslim cleric in a bizarre attack aboard a flight from Miami International Airport three years ago. The wild scene, which involved federal air marshals and local police, was never reported in the media.

Here's what happened: On Oct. 23, 2003, Sheikh Ahmed Hamman Mahmoud Hamman claimed he needed assistance as he boarded Delta Flight 1586. Banducci, who was flight coordinator that day, escorted the Egyptian imam, dressed in a flowing robe, to his seat. As she helped him get seated, Hamman remarked in heavily accented English how good she smelled and asked her name. ...-

In moving to lower the age of consent for anal intercourse to 14, one has to wonder why? Why do the Liberals want this? The only answer is that the Sodomy/Pedophile party of Canada has declared itself. Little wonder these buggers want to have state control of everybody's children.

It would be a better idea for the Conservatives to make SSM a ballet question in the next Federal election and then move to vote in parliament, or not.

We constantly hear the NDP and Liberals saying that they "speak for Canadians" and they "know what Canadians want." Well it's about time Canadians spoke for themselves. It's called democracy.

Lots of complaining re the cancellation and closing of several SOW offices. I wonder, has there ever been a STATUS OF MEN department. Don't men need to have equality re custody, etc. Guess the sows only want supposed equality for women like BS, to break up families, sleep around, abandon kids and spouses, falsely claim abuse and many other stupid causes. One comment stated more women were killed by spouses than men were killed. Could that be interrupted that men are more caring and don't deserve to be killed, or is it that these poor mistreated wives could not support themselves if they killed their spouse.
One thing the sows and pinkbook authors have never accepted is that there are mean, dishonest, poor parent, drunks and drug addicts, and abusers in the female population as well as the male. Why can women join and participate in many mens clubs and org etc, but a man can't join a womens fitness club. It has taken many years, but canadians have finally accepted the fact that the sows are just what their initials spell. Who come up with the name Status of Women. Remember that immigrant woman of color that used to be the head of said sows. Notice the poll in the calgary sun on who should be leader, Martha has more support than Iggy at the time I voted. And, will any speaker at the convention mention the qualities of the candidates and policies or will they all just bash Harper and Bush. Will delegates vote for the one who hates the above most. And why do they insist they are voting for the next PM of Canada. I doubt it. The next election will be a test of whether Canada will remain one country or lose 2 provinces.

Now there is a scandal in Ont Children Aids office. Imagine if all that money had been spent on kids and not on taking kids away from familys for trying to instill disipline. Any comment from TalibanJack on this misspent money. Way to go liberals.

Above you wrote: "One comment [by the feminists] stated more women were killed by spouses than men were killed. Could that be interrupted that men are more caring and don't deserve to be killed, or is it that these poor mistreated wives could not support themselves if they killed their spouse."

One small quibble: it's not "spouses" or "wives" who are usually mistreated. Both Statistics Canada and the Centre for Justice Statistics have shown over and over--data usually suppressed by the MSM--that MARRIED women are MUCH SAFER--by about 4 times--in their partnerships than are women in common law or more casual arrangements. (In this regard, gay and lesbian relationships have notoriously high levels of abuse and instability.)

In fact, for both women and children--hey, let's be inclusive: men too!--MARRIAGE is demonstrably the most healthy, safe family institution in which to live. (Kids are far more often abused by males to whom they're not biologically related, e.g., mom's latest boyfriend or live-in lover.)

Who'd know? But check the statistics.

OOPS, that should be interpreted instead of interupted. That comment re poor mistreated spouses was in jest and should have been in " ".
