I would just like to point out that the New York Times appears to have doctored the slide referred to in this brilliantly well-timed bit of election propaganda by removing the classification markings which are invariably found at the top and bottom of these slide (even when they are unclassified — and this one was classified, as Central Command has already confirmed). I want to know whether there is any level of national secret the Times is not willing to betray for the political advantage of its pet causes. And I would like to know what else they may have doctored on the slide.

If BJ Clinton were now POTUS, fighting Islamonazis like criminal cases, and the Wall Street Journal published leaked report after leaked report detailing classified information, ruining their changes of prosecuting cases, would that be "the highest form of patriotism" then?

The NYT and John Kerry are on the same page.
Each knew exactly what they were doing and saying, and chose to do so in order to earn the bona fides of the hard left.
Even if Kerry and the NYT admit to their 'mistakes,' they will have satisfied that left constituency and they will have 'earned' their loyalty.
It isn't as if Kerry's harsh words (and lies) were news to much of the left. They have been saying the same thing for years, and cheered whenever Kerry ran down the military.
The same can be said for the NYT- they have a long and glorious record of bending the truth and one of their reporters even won a Pulitzer based on deliberately falsified reports about conditions in the Soviet Union.
With dwindling readership, the NYT too, is looking for a new reader base.

Children LEARN about truth, honour, responsibility, accountability, and owning up to their mistakes--and how to say they're sorry--from the adults around them, which is why the family is so important: and I mean more or less functional families, not the many dysfunctional non-families too many kids are growing up in today.
Lying and dysfunctionality are legion in both the private sphere and the public square, and the NYT is a huge part of the problem. IMO, they should be prosecuted for treason.

That the NYT, which I subscribe to cause they practically give it away down here in the midwest, is tanking under its strategy to combine editorial and news isn't surprising. That it reports so selectively after its past errors is also understandable considering the incompetence of the Publisher.

Interesting to see if the NYTs will report this... BBC; More than 70 Muslim Airport workers in Paris have been stripped of the security clearance. Allegedly having been at terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Afghanistan. One is thought to be a friend of Shoe-Bomber, Richard Reid.... Les Francois just don't have a sense of ha-ha anymore.
