Nominations for the 2006 Weblog Awards close tomorrow night.

The Weblog Awards are the world's largest blog competition, with over 1 million votes cast in the last three years for nearly 1,000 blogs. This year's edition is the biggest ever with 46 categories to choose from.

(SDA is already nominated - thanks!).

It must be blog award season or something. It looks like you've got a pretty good chance at something on the Canadian Blog Awards. Good look!

"... Canadian Blog Awards."

Shhhhhh..... I don't want to have anything to do with "he who shall not be linked".

That's official. Go vote for the closet lefty.

Thanks for endorsing the closet lefty Olaf, Kate. Would I be able to get an endorsement for the Best Progressive Blog? Thought I'd ask while you're feeling generous ;-)

Only if "progressive" is amended to "pinko"..

Hmmmm, tempting. Can I get back to you on that?

S.B.

I'll vote for ya.....Just send me ten bucks.

Syncro

OK, I spoke with my people, and I'm willing to let you amend Progressive to include "pinko" so long as the words "Liberal Green pinko" appear on the endorsement.

Syncro, would you like that in deer, or in dollars?

S.B.

White tails or mulies?

Syncro

Whichever I can round up the fastest, or are least immune to the front end of my bumper.

Speaking of which, SGI came within a hairsbreadth of writing off my van. Nearly $8K in damage.

S.B.

I don't want the ones Kate indiscriminatly smashed with her van. I want one that died of old age.....the tougher the better.

Syncro

8K.....Yikes!!! I think ya gotta hit em faster next time. Somewheres between 130-140 tosses them off real good.

Syncro

Yikes Kate. I saw the photo, and it looked like they wouldn't bother trying to fix that.

Syncro, I'll see what I can scare up, but don't count on the doe. I'd appreciate the support anyway, even if I can't bribe you with venison.

Kate,

I don't care what the Catholic church says, you're a saint in my books. Many thanks. I'm just glad I had one of my Layton-bashing posts up for the occasion to welcome your guests.
