It should be a good game on Nov. 5. Stamps against the Riders. I think that the Stamps will prevail (OK I am a homer). I went out and got one of those red parkas that the coaching staff wear on the side lines, and have had my tickets since they came up for purchase.
As for BC, "snort, snicker, chortle, sneer and a ton of false sympathy" Yeah, sounds like the Lions. If the Riders beat the Stamps it will be Riders vs Bombers in a rematch of the Labour Day tussles.
Since they won their most recent game, the Riders will lose their last regular season game against Edmonton, finishing the year with their standard 9-9 win-loss record.
Then to keep the pattern going they will beat Calgary in the Western semi-finals.
Then they will lose horribly to B.C. in the Western final, thus capping off another year of mediocrity.
However we their loyal fans will continue to support them. Go Riders!
I'm looking forward to watching the last Rider game ever coached by Danny Barrett. other than that, it's more than likely that our players will go to Calgary, party til morning the night before and stink up McMahon the next day. Go Riders!
Colby: My previous comment about a .500 season being standard for the Riders was only considering the last couple of years (9-9 in both 2004 and 2005). Their 11-7 record in 2003 aside, they went the entire period from 1995 to 2002 without hitting .500 once, so it's understandable that some of us Riders fans have a "could be worse" attitude about their mediocrity.
Go Riders!
Why this blog? Until this moment
I have been forced

In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice

Go Blue Bombers!
looks like two of the Stamps defensive line stepped out for Ramadan but still were on the field.
Stamps? Bombers? Riders? From BC I can only offer snort, snicker, chortle, sneer and a ton of false sympathy.

I hear the Riders are scouring the U.S. colleges for 12 foot tall receivers so that they can start completing some passes.
No luck so far.

.500 is standard for the Riders? Good one. Your all-time winning percentage comes out to more like .460, I'm afraid.
Go Stamps :D

Yeah, well, don't worry, the Evil Empire can't stick the needle in too deep just now. Pinball Clemons blew up the Death Star.
