How can we get this officer to work in kelowna were I live? Just maybe, we could arrest some creeps and cut down on seat belt checks. What a wonderful asset for any community.
Man we really need more guys like that. I kept waiting to hear (after "I'm going to find out who these judges are") - "I'm going to rip their f-ing lungs out". I think it was there waiting to happen but we needed a couple of more minutes of audio...
I believe that we will see more of these kind of people come out and say what they really feel.

well at least he wont be doing like the cops here in schmuckdom and beat up a retired businessman and former naval officer in his own home, drag him off to jail without so much as a pair of shoes on and wind up with a whopping fat million + dollar law suit on their hands.
feel free to google and in so doing PROVE what I have just posted.
failing that, feel free to ask Kate to d/l a copy of the pdf I gave her of the newspaper article detailing the incident.
a retired frail millionaire roughed up by cops in his own home for .... well whatever.
thugs with badges, gangsters in uniform. the 2nd biggest drain on a city's budget and worse than useless.

bikers dont beat you up and then arrest you, cops do. regularly. including retired former naval veterans.
Im not making this up. Kate, could you please email the pdf file I sent you? or maybe it was jpg format. all the ugly details.
Tit for tat? So, because a bad cop (who should be removed) roughed up an old man, it's ok that a cop be killed in SF?
Not following the logic.
I don't think you'll find many people here that approve of police corruption. Most sane people see corruption as a crime, and aren't happy when they see it. Police are one of the many institutions where corruption of any kind CANNOT be tolerated, and should not be tolerated.
As for them being the 2nd biggest drain of a city's budget? That's great! It's one of the few things that I'm taxed for that I really have no problem with.
As a person who has had to deal with the criminal element, I can assure you that the police aren't the biggest threat to security in society.
bikers and snotty attitudnal gang boys cant beat you up and THEN arrest you.
cops can and do.
and they do it because the can at the time, no one to stop them, and repeatedly do it because they know they can get away with it, and do so also because of the 'brotherhood'; any cop 'ratting out' another can kiss his/her cop ass career adios.
the problem with police corruption is the damage they can inflict. corruption in business results in millions siphoned out of the pockets of duped investors. corruption in politics results in nepotism and kickbacks from contractors. etc etc.
corruption in policing results in people framed and heaved in prison on fabricated evidence. real serious stuff.
corruption? why is the rcmp commissioner refusing to step down? because corruption is the order of the day in policing in canada. right from the absolute pinnacle top honcho zaccardelli all the way thru and thru.
my encounters of the cop kind consist of getting laughed in the face at 3 in the morning when I reported, er, *attempted* to report the theft of a brand new $500 barbecue.
2 months later I get accused by a cop of trying to 'get away' from the train station because I had just decked a drunk bigger than me and I was concerned he might miss his train and get real hopping mad at me for staying at the bar too long, necessitating me hurting him real bad to prevent a 3rd attack and then get accused by said cops of 'yawell yawell yawell ya waaaaaaaanted the fight becaue ya shouldacoulda just leeeeeeeft'.
they refuse to clarify the acceptable and expected action; do you stay and wait for them to decide to show up, risking a resumption of the altercation, or do you leave and get accused as happened to me of trying to 'get away'? which is it?
and dont DARE to demand for the better part of a year to get it in writing because then you get threatened with harassment charges.
the cops are assholes that dont give a twit about the freedom and safety of the public. beating up a retired businessman senseless and dragging him off to jail without so much as a pair of shoes ISNT the exception, its just the one that got the publicity because of the atrociousness of the act.
and the whopping lawsuit.
its all about what is convenient for cops. the reason you are supposed to wait at the scene of the assault is so that its real easy for the cops when they finally do show up to make the report. no steppin and fetchin waste of time.
do they care if someone gets hurt real bad because the punk gang boy got hot under the collar when the grey haired partial hippie with the peace sign tattoo (ie me) just flattened him, so he called his buddies on the cell phone??? hmmmm ????
cops are worse than useless.
Ive seen it with my own eyes, read media reports, heard horror stories from people I have know since preschool and now they have decided to target me. well, I warned them but they didnt listen so now I point out their failings every chance and forum I can.

tell me fisher, would living next to a drug dealer gro-opper who gets dragged away in cuffs and all his expensive toys seized, and then gets out on bail and proceeds to scream threats and obscenities at moi, would that be a good reason to call said cops and lodge a complaint?
and what if by the 5th or 6th time the cops refuse to so much as show up at the door in a cruiser?
sumptin wrong here. they always shows up in a cruiser, not this time.
and the harassment escalates because said drug dealer seems to know he can get away with it, and then leaves an obscenity on my answering machine. which I then transfer to an endless loop cassette (this was when cassettes were all the rage) and play it out the window full blast, aimed at the gro-op folks next door, over and over again. hundreds of times, for some 3 or 4 hours.
*now* the cops finally show up telling me 'yacantdoooooothat'
?
I cant do that ?
the drug dealer can leave the obscenity on my phone but I cant play back HIS words, in HIS voice out the window full volume?
'howjaknowitshiiiiim'?
?
how do I know its him? uh well copette, because its his voice and its the stuff Ive had to put up with for months.
I eventually figured it out.
- the cops were perfectly willing to let the drug dealer harbour the belief it was me who informed on him to hide the identity of the real informant, or,
- they cut a deal with him to be the informant and he then knew they wouldnt haul his ass away on breach of bail, or,
- they were quite familiar with the way these things play out and were waiting to see if I would overreact so they could milk additional charges out of the situation.
after I sold the place and moved away, I realized there was a 4th possibility:
- some combination of the about 3.
THAT is why I hate cops.
worse than useless a**h*les who promote their own objectives over the safety and rights of citizens.
periodically I call the local constabulary all sympathetic like..... and then tell them if any of their officers get distraught and stressed out to the point of turning their glock semi on themselves well.... I will pay for the bullets.
har har har.
they wanna laugh at me I just laugh right back at them.
it might be because I did some detective work on my own and dug up the home phone number of the superintendant of uniform division, called it once to confirm, programmed it into my cell phone and moseyed over to the cop headquarters and tersely warned the cop behind the counter if I *ever* got laughed at again in the process of reporting a theft, I would call *this* (arm extended in his face, phone number in the display) number on *this* cell phone or whatever one I have, and YOU poeple can explain to your boss what is so 'funny' about me being the victim of a theft.
I followed up with a letter explaining they did not have to confirm the accuracy of the phone number in front of me, but that I knew that they knew it was the right one.
I then went on to warn them that from then on I 'might' carry a concealed recording device (they do exist!) to catch the laughter next time it happens. they do work, I tested it.
and then the cops are faced with admitting to it, or denying it and then the recording is played back to internal affairs; now theyre in real deep doo doo for lieing to the boss and a citizen having proof, albeit not admissible in court. doesnt have to be!!!
I then followed up with a real sarcastic sign in the mail suggesting they 'post it in the squad room' warning them all 'espcially the desk crew on the night shift' dont EVER laugh at the ugly looking grey haired guy or it will seriously blow up in your face.
so, no laughter since then.
this is why I have complete permanent disdain for cops; they treat me like dirt, they get it right back.
Schmuck: ( altered from another thread) You, by your arguements have now joined the ranks of the modern neo-communist movement. You are anti-American pro-Olympian and socialist utopian in all that you have expressed here; and that is your right. Your arguements always amount to only criticism though, without offering alternatives. You base your opinions on the most far left neo-communist view of the world. You are the proto-typical hippie... just in the wrong decade.
This is getting very very tedius... the game of claim and counter claim can go on forever. In the end, you are communist and the righwhingers on this site in your mind are just a bunch of red kneck war-mongering military industrial complex slaves as your beloved Noam Chomsky would say.
The reason you come here and just counter spin without ever adding any constructive substantive addition to any thread makes you just as I have described; and in blog lingo... troll. You have a mental need and obsession with argueing with conservatives... as you demonstrate here every day... I'm not sure it's that healthy.
You have changed nobody. Nobody has changed you. Therefore, it is an obsession that causes you to sit here and spew your childish opposition. Otherwise, you'd be on a site that shares more of your views and where you could actually do something constructive. Only disfunctional people behave that way in the real world. As is, your "opinions" amount to the most intellectually lazy of any position ever taken by anybody... which is just to counter spin. Any fool with a grade 8 vocabulary can do that.
I invite you to add something substantial... to add alternatives, constructive dialogue, and the like. Failing that, I will be deleting you from all posts put up by "cjunk" while I'm guest blogging. If all you do is push slogans and critique without any substantive addition... you will be deleted.
Furthermore... scrounging the net for "links", is not considered substantive debate... it's intellectually lazy crap.
You've been warned.. I've had enough of your college hippie techniques... I'd be glad to hear what you have to say if it's constructive and offers real and plausible "alternatives." Otherwise, go to another thread.
If you consider this severe, realize that many of us have family and friends serving in the forces (or police), and your comments are incredibly hurtful and insulting.
The San francisco Cronical is just like the New York Times its just a commie lie rag printed in americas most far left city in this nation unlesss your consitering HOLLYWOOD
two points to consider, one, as heard by the policeman, and one from anecdotal stories my father told me from the era when he was a rowdy young man.
point #1: S.F.P.D spokesman made mention of the judges responsible. He also reminded us Canadians something truely great about the USA. Elected judges
Judges may all be generally lenient by nature, but when you know the will of the people is 'get tough on criminals' or lose your job, it helps keep a balance in the victim/criminal equation.
The other point, #2 is about how the police, the RCMP, used to deal with young punks and rowdies. Back in the day, there were no arrests and orders to appear for petty stuff like drunk & disorderly, public fighting, assault, or general bad behavior. No, uh uhh....the police first on the scene usually took care of it right then and there. They took the punk-ass jerk out back and beat the crap out of him. They didn't seriously injure or kill, just a good 'attitude adjustment' Something the kids today need often and in a manner that suits the crime. screw-up really bad.....a particularly good beating,....minor screw-up, a good roughing-up and a stern warning. Sounds harsh, doesn't it?....but imagine the long-lasting effect it might have on a newly-rebelious teen. Nip it in the bud, no judges, no lawyers, no parents, no WITNESSES! What ever happened to the good cops out there that knew where to draw the line and teach a valuable lesson to an otherwise good kid before he turned into a repeat troublemaker?
I guess the other option I've always liked, too, is manditory military service for young offenders. First offence, boot-camp. second offence, 4 years service, peeling potatos. Once 'word on the street' gets out there is no lawyer or social worker that can get them a lesser sentence, they will smarten-up fast. And I'm sure the CAF needs potato-peelers right now
Young people are terrible these days. The young offender's act gives them a get-out-of-jail free card no matter what they do. They know full well they will get little or no real punishment until they really do serious crime and then, only after age 17. The time to head them off is when they are 13 or 14.
"If you consider this severe, realize that many of us have family and friends serving in the forces (or police), and your comments are incredibly hurtful and insulting."
well mr/ms debris, you want alternatives? try this: the right wing brian mulruin progeny conservatists pull out all the stops and go on a buying spree picking up the absolute BEST military equipment money can buy, and ALL of it goes into the equipment and requisite training and delivery and setup etc etc, NOT the friggin pockets of conservatist lobbyist supporters.
but it hasnt happened.
all the harper claims of support for the men and women over there is PROPAGANDA and a despicable vote grabbing tactic.
the simple fact is EVERY government in canada since 1946 not just the lieberals has put military investment shoved away in the attic.
My dearest friend since preschool whose eldest son is in afghanistan right now handling communications, worked at a veterans hospital where the orderlies would yell at the still traumatized vets because they were 'moving too slow' or some such crap. and I have NEVER been satisfied with the crappy pensions they got. did you catch the thing in the news recently, a judge decided in favor of the vets regarding mismanagement of their pension money for decades at the hand of da gumbbamint including your precious conservatists. 2 billion dollars behind in payments and guess which right wing a**h*les are contesting the judgement. yep, ol' stevie boy harper and the ottawa gang.
as far as cops are concerned, if we should perchance reintroduce the death penalty in canada in time for mr rcmp commissioner to go on trial, guilty verdict and lordy be, death sentence !! I will volunteer to put a 44 magnum to his head and blow his brains out for what he did the Meher Arar. for the token sum of one dollar. all nice and legal.
p.s., I am assuredly not anti american, I prominently display the stars and stripes on the front of my house starting july 4 every year, along with the maple leaf which goes up on the 1st. aroundabouts the end of the month or mid august they are once again moved inside where they hang side by side with the star of david the rest of the year.
I am however, vehemently anti george dubya and the halliburton gang.
the simple fact is the old military industrial complex flagged by Dwight Eisenhower has taken over the legislative branch, and the executive branch of american government. with the hand puppet dubya as the figurehead.
3/4 TRILLION dollars every year in arms. why??? who in blazes are they fighting all the time???
etc etc
you people are simply way too enamoured of the right wing party rhetoric to see the warning signs. waaaaaay too wrapped up in the idea that you're so 'right' (pun intended) about everything and when I come along and smash the guts out of your sacred cows and pet beliefs all you can do is drone on and on about the translation of the yiddish word 'schmuck' and 'meds' and 'acne' (which incidentally I still have a bit of).
and if you actually do know someone in a police department, do ask them what victims of assault are expected to do. stay and wait for the boys with the badges to finally show up and risk being acused of waaaaaanting the fight when it resumes? or leave and be accused as I was of trying to 'get awaaaaaay'. which is it? stay or leave? Ive been trying for almost a year to get the dipwad copasses to give me a straight answer and they wont because they want to put their customized spin on things after-the-fact. they wont put it in writing for me so I can shove the document in my glove box and thence in the face of the next dipwad that accuses me of trying to 'get awaaaay'. and they wont point to anywhere in their policies and procedures a clear unequivocal statement does the victim have to stay and risk a resumption of the altercation waiting for the cops to show up, or do they leave and get accused of trying to 'get awaaaaay'. which is it debris? stay or leave? stay or leave? which is it?
yes or no, have you ever gotten an answer to this question or anyone to your knowledge gotten a straight answer?
" RCMP, used to deal with young punks and rowdies. ....... No, uh uhh....the police first on the scene usually took care of it right then and there. They took the punk-ass jerk out back and beat the crap out of him."
uh sadly artic, cops nowadays appear to have decided this method of dealing with 'offenders' is applicable to, wait for it, retired former naval officers who make millions in business and promptly give a lot of it away.
NO ONE is safe when a frail 76 yr old gets beat up in his own home by cops.
Kate has/had a digital image of the newspaper article I scanned and have been plastering all over the city to warn people and remind them they are not safe in the presence of cops.
just ask jane doe of the infamous rape bait case in toronto. consider she went thru some 4 or 5 chiefs of police before those dipwads DARED to publicly ADMIT what they did. decisons made at the highest level to sacrifice the safety and security of citizens so that they can pursue *their* objectives.
furthermore, soon after the story about the cops administering a beating to the 76 yr old, I called their headquarters and sarcastically asked if they planned on doing it to anyone else and if so, be sure and get lots of witnesses 'cause the optics sure are bad on this one.
and then even more sarcastically suggested alternatively they make sure there are no witnesses whatsoever.
- Ive seen this with my own eyes as an auxiliary with niagara regional in 89-90 when I quit in disgust.
- Ive heard numerous anecdotal stories from far and wide
- Ive read hundreds of news items over the years about cops committing everything from perjury to bank robbery (using their service revolver !!!) to child molestation and homicide.
- and now it seems the local khaps have decided to focus their attention on me. feel free anyone in the same situation to copy any of my retaliatory actions.
I have warned the local cops if they continue to act like a**h*les they can look forward to ads in the paper and a web site chronicling all their wrongdoing and invitations to far and wide to victims of cop wrongdoing to pay a modest fee to get their story on the internet forever. news reports, pdf versions of court documents, audio and video recordings, you name it.
I just have one comment. Each police department has it's own "culture", so I wouldn't paint them all with the same brush. I've had excellent experience, and very negative ones. I've lived in isolated communities where the closest police were anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes away, and where often they were so overrun they couldn't respond. So, I'm used to taking care of business. Now that I live in an urban setting, that no longer applies.
By the way, I've read scores of things over the year about politicians, police, teachers, judges, etc. that could leave me to believe that they are all corrupt... but you know, and I know that they aren't. They are humans, and like humans there will always be those who abuse their positions of authority. I don't paint them all with the same brush though.

I then followed up with a real sarcastic sign in the mail suggesting they 'post it in the squad room' warning them all 'espcially the desk crew on the night shift' dont EVER laugh at the ugly looking grey haired guy or it will seriously blow up in your face.
so, no laughter since then.
this is why I have complete permanent disdain for cops; they treat me like dirt, they get it right back.
t.schmuck
Time to get back on your meds.
Tough cops is not what we need. Storm troopers are not required.
two points to consider, one, as heard by the policeman, and one from anecdotal stories my father told me from the era when he was a rowdy young man.
point #1: S.F.P.D spokesman made mention of the judges responsible.
I didnt think so.
I win !!!
Kate has/had a digital image of the newspaper article I scanned and have been plastering all over the city to warn people and remind them they are not safe in the presence of cops.
just ask jane doe of the infamous rape bait case in toronto. consider she went thru some 4 or 5 chiefs of police before those dipwads DARED to publicly ADMIT what they did. decisons made at the highest level to sacrifice the safety and security of citizens so that they can pursue *their* objectives.
sign of the times !!!
stay or leave..... stay or leave ....
furthermore, soon after the story about the cops administering a beating to the 76 yr old, I called their headquarters and sarcastically asked if they planned on doing it to anyone else and if so, be sure and get lots of witnesses 'cause the optics sure are bad on this one.
and then even more sarcastically suggested alternatively they make sure there are no witnesses whatsoever.
I have warned the local cops if they continue to act like a**h*les they can look forward to ads in the paper and a web site chronicling all their wrongdoing and invitations to far and wide to victims of cop wrongdoing to pay a modest fee to get their story on the internet forever. news reports, pdf versions of court documents, audio and video recordings, you name it.
stay or leave ...... stay or leave .......
schmuck: Much better... thank you.
