Peter MacKay's "dog" was not mentioned on this evening's KEVN Fox7 broadcast.

Mine however, was.

Congrats Kate.

Are you going to China, Kate? Or did you sell Focus to someone there?

Kate, do you have a pic of the little guy you can share with us? As a Schnauzer Fauzer (that's Brianese for Father) it would be appreciated.

Another job well done!

Kate, Now, this is a dog story that I really can enjoy! Good work with your little buddies.

Good work Kate and to you little friends. This is a real dog story.

congrats to both Kate and Focus. Is he perhaps going to an Emperor in the peoples' Republic??

Congratulations Kate, and best of luck to you and Focus in the future!

You sure have a double standard in the Tory party. I'd like to talk to your wives. Belinda is a single girl and does things a lot of single girls and guys do only with rich men. Get a grip. I knew a lot of single right wing girls who did the same. The "Bible Schools" were full ofthem.

Congratulations, Kate.

Maybe we should start a Focus fan club.

Maybe you should have a sister site called Small Live Animals.

And as a Texas fan, I simply want to encourage Focus to remember where he comes from: Don't let the celebrity and the bright lights turn your head.

And remember, Focus, when you're up there beginning that speech with
"And I want to thank members of the Academy..."
out here all we little people are pulling for you.

I certainly hope Focus isn't part of the Canadian Foreign Aid Program. You know, the one designed to help impoverished countries? End of political statement.

As usual, congratulations Kate. A great blogger, artist and breeder, is there anything you do not excel at?

Kate's doggies rule!

Doesn't surprise me... after all, they have Kate to train them and everything... what more could a doggy bark for?

Well done, Kate!

ms stronach just needs a good lay to shut her up.

Im not volunteering, however, I will supply the scotch tape with which to tack a picture of shania twain's mug onto ms stronach's....

LOL !!!

What type of animal needs continuous grooming and 10 to 20 hours of hair maintenance? Well, almost any dog at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center during the Rapid City Kennel Club's dog show. Especially a 10 month old miniature Schnauzer named Focus. His owner says that he is a natural at dog shows.
"He walked in and went...oh...I can do this. Some puppies just figure it out and enjoy the attention," Katherine McMillan said.
Even though Focus didn't win today he finished his American Championship yesterday. So where will Focus's career lead him?
McMillan said he will stay in North America a few more weeks and then he has a future show career in Beijing, China. We wish Focus good luck on his future endeavors. The dog show continues tomorrow from 6-8 at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Competitors from 32 states are entered this year. The show has
grown from 750 dogs just five years ago to an all–time high of 1,800.
