The Brits Got One

Some time ago Al-Qaeda terrorist Omar al-Farouq escaped from American custody in Afghanistan.

Today, the British killed him in southern Iraq.

Good shooting, Brits.

Let me extend American appreciation and congratulations to the distinguished Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment. An excellent job on the part of members of the regiment in eliminating the threat of a dangerous Islamic terrorist.

Since apparently we were not able to hang onto him, we are thankful that you guys were there to make sure that his sucessful escape ended before he was able to get up to further mischief.

Congratulations on a laudable kill.

It's fine an dandy that some Brits are still shooting straight, but back in old London Town they just agreed to run all possible terrorist investigations past the local mullahs for their permission and advice on whether or not specific persons should be investigated.

So the terrorists are now running the British constabulary. Nice!

England is a goner along with the rest of the Euro weenies.

Good one!
Nice shooting!

Couldn't happen to a more deserving man.

MSM writes-

"British forces shot and killed a leading al-Qaida terrorist Monday more than a year after he embarrassed the U.S. military by making an unprecedented escape from a maximum security military prison in Afghanistan."

Now who is it exactly that should be embarassed? Perhaps maybe its the guy who's pushing up daisies.

he,ll have plenty of company where he,s going a lot of his comarads who took part in the infamous 9-11-01 incedent and some others like HITLER,STALIN,MAO,ATTILA,ROBERT ALTON HARRIS,maybe he will someday get to have a meeting with BIN LADDEN

John: Take your "euroweenies" comments and fuck off.

Euroweenies just about hits the nail on the head.

Keep it up, John...pardon the pun... :-)

'been around the block:
Of course you've done far more in "the war on terror" than the hapless Britsh soldier.
Keep it up.

Support the Troops. All the troops.

Keep it up, Brits!

speaking of goings on in iraq, here's something to give all you hard-wired dubya fans indigestion:

Retired military officers criticize Rumsfeld
WASHINGTON — Retired military officers today bluntly accused Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld of bungling the war in Iraq, saying U.S. troops were sent to fight without the best equipment and that critical facts were hidden from the public.

"I believe that Secretary Rumsfeld and others in the administration did not tell the American people the truth for fear of losing support for the war in Iraq," retired Maj.-Gen. John Batiste said in remarks prepared for a forum conducted by Senate Democrats.

A second military leader, retired Maj.-Gen. Paul Eaton, assessed Rumsfeld as "incompetent strategically, operationally and tactically . . . "

"Mr. Rumsfeld and his immediate team must be replaced or we will see two more years of extraordinarily bad decision-making."

ya got that o personal attacking bush league dipwads?

senior military experts giving rumsfeld a failing grade, expressing concerns over 2 more years of bad decisions.

Schmucks problem is the moo-moo he wears every day. Dude!, the chicks don't like moo-moo's.

A few suggestions:
Stop smoking so much dope.
Fat-finger the local help line and get some help.
Move out of your momma's basement.

all personal attacks, nothing whatsoever yet in the entire blogosphere attacking the arguements I draw on to support my contention that dubya is the vastly greater threat to world security with his black and white view of things etc etc.

so thank you kindly mr m and mr/ms link for proving me 'right' (pun intended) about right wingers.

personal attack personal attack personal attack, the earmark of frustrated failed 'debater' bereft of the ability to use logic and facts.

High fives to the lads of the Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment! Wish I could buy you all a pint! :-)

I'm going to resist my impulse to feed the troll above, remembering Lincoln's quote, "Never argue with a fool, somebody else might not be able to tell the difference."
