Trevor, get a grip. It is all due to the angle of the frikkin sun. If you stand next to me towards the sun, your shadow may cover some of me but if the sun is at the 2 o'clock position and assuming you are not 7' tall, I will still get the sun in my eyes and enough sun will reflect off my thinning scalp to be seen from the camera directly above us. This isn't a Reuteurs photo, dude. Nice try though.
TC,good explanation.
Where the picture makes complete sense from that angle, maybe you can explain why most the shadows seem to be faintly outlined in white.Something to do with the stark contrast of light and dark perhaps?
Why this blog? Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice
of an ordinary Canadian
yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I can't answer or use every
tip, but all are
appreciated!

I was being DDoSed. -

What a great photo, thanks for sharing it.
Cool it is, thanks!
Wow!!
Fact really is stranger (and more awesome) than fiction!
Love it! And they can't blame Bush either.
Tall skinny things, aren't they? I guess that exposes less of their surface area to the noon-day sun. Cool.
This picture was faked. Look in the bottom left corner. The shadow goes all the way over one of the camels but the camel is covered in sunshine????
