Kazoos in Afghanistan

So, what do you do if you own a Kazoo company and want to support the troops? You send case loads of Kazoos to Kandahar of course.

Both retired General Dallaire and current military chief Hillier speak out, one telling us that Peace Keeping has been dead for 15 years, the other tells us to brace ourselves for a long struggle.

NATO steps up big time, taking over command of most of the Afghan theatre. What most people don’t realize, is that an unprecedented number of American troops will now be under NATO command. If you have insight into this, say so!

Sam Ser tells us that terrorism in Afghanistan is connected to terrorism in Israel, while Philippe Gohier tells us that Afghanistan is becoming Iraq, and that it’s time to get out.

Sure Afghanistan is becoming Iraq. The enemy is Islamic fascism. We’re not at war with a country(s) we’re at war with a movement. The battles are taking place in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon ... the non-state entities are the Hezbos, Hamas, al Qaeda and several others.

These entities are being supported by oil money and poppy money. Pakistan is a very questionable “ally” as is Saudi Arabia. Iran was correctly named as part of the Axis of evil and Syria might as well be thrown in there too.

This is not Vietnam. We can’t just cut and run because the enemy is also in our midst and we also are seeing “homegrown” terrorism funded by all those named above.

Thank God we have a volunteer army of brave men and woman who want to confront these evil monsters on our behalf. I’m going to put on a red jacket and show up at the rally, that’s the least I can do in appreciation.

you can do it this route as well.

MediaRight.ca is a good implementation (good stories, half decent website design), but a horrible domain name.

I'm a Conservative, but every time I'm about to click on that domain name link I cringe thinking about how it screams blatant bias.

Can't you just name it "Conservative propoganda" and be done with it?

Afghanistan will be a protracted mission of possibly 10 years or more....unless Pakistan is made to take responsibility for having it's mountainous border regiuon being used as a staging ground for Taliban troops sent to Afghanistan.
Seeing how we do not have the global juice to get his done ( witness Musharraf giving us the middle finger this week) we will have to endure a constant state of conflict in Afghanistan until someone get the nuts to do what has to be done with Taliban hideouts in Pakistan.

Richard Nixon's carpet bombing of Cambodia bringing the Viet cong to the peace talks comes to mind.

WLMR, re carpet bombing, I get the feeling that’s the only kind of war the West will support.

Clinton did not have UN approval re Kosavo yet the US bombed the heck out of the area for weeks. But the body bag count for US troops was a non-event for CNN to report so it was OK with the public.

Christoph: I'll let MediaRight stand on it's own, whether the name makes some cringe or not. With all the neutral sounding news agencies out there, which are actually in fact platforms for "progressive" journalism... I really don't care.

And, you will find on MediaRight a good dose of news that supports the Right... a lot more than you'll find on nice neutral sounding sites like CBC... CTV... Glogal... CNN... CBS... BBC...etc. Funny, the neutral sounding FOX is known amoung lefties as a raging bias rightwing news provider.

I simply post it all, including the vaque pieces from around the world that don't bend to "progressive" ideology.

insight; 12 000 US troops will come under control of the ISAF making it the highest number of troops not under US comand since WW2. the top operational commander is an american however, US Marine Gen. James L Jones.
