McCourt's mom obviously dropped them all on their heads when they were kids. Those Dublin cobblestones can do real brain damage.
America lets those two immigrate from their Irish slum, and become richer and more famous than they ever could back home, and for their troubles, Americans get to hear their President facetiously threatened by Blarney the Dinosaur on live TV.
How quaint!
Weren't the McCourts from Limerick rather than Dublin?
Bush under fire in Toronto
iAfrica.com - 5 hours ago
The 31st Toronto International Film Festival opens on Thursday with a plethora of stars and some controversy over the world premiere of a movie about the fictitious murder of US President George W. Bush. An ... via googlenews
It's in B&WBDS... darn...
Another real liberal oozing to the surface? I would think so. It’s quite humorous that given the right circumstances/darkness they can’t help themselves or stay silent. Scary, truly scary, and not in the boogeyman tactic of Harper scary.
Chris Matthews is the south end of a north bound horse. Never getting it, MSNBC, always below sewer level in the ratings, hasn't a clue at how to attract more viewers. Their audience share is so low it's a mystery to me why they are still broadcasting.
Except for FOX and the WSJ, you will never ever see Bush or a Republican get a fair deal with the media. I'll say it again, most of the MSM here might as well be headquartered in Paris.
McCourt is the stereotypical blathering stage Irish socialist in the genre of lard-assed Ted Kennedy.
Slightly OT:
Has anyone caught Glenn Beck's show on CNN?
Just curious...which candidate does the learned readership of SDA favour for the NY gubernatorial race? The choices are
A. Jon Faso (Republican ticket)
www.johnfaso2006.com/about.html
B. Eliot Spitzer (Democrat/Working Families Party ticket)

Matthews at one time opined about running for Prex.
Guess he came to his senses - cut in pay, long hours, being a dartboard instead of a dart, a constant barrage of being called a moron - and this is if you win.We should have a no bullshit button on our remotes to shut these turkeys up or replace their malarkey with the best of Andy Kauffman.
That way they could still get ratings and their viewers wouldnt get the the drivel.
Kathy..frankly,no.
However, while channel surfing I caught CNN's take on the war in Afgan....seems the Taliban are gaining strength and retaking provinces in all corners of the country. No sh*t,that was their spin!
Bob - I can't stand Eliot Spitzer. I think he is a egocentric maniac of the worst sort. I think he is dangerous. He bullies others by threatening to unleash frivolous investigations and lawsuits.
Kathy:
Just started watching Glenn Beck. Stunning to see someone like him on CNN. On the other hand, the show seems a bit "lite"; insufficient time for useful guests to provide more than sound bites, and too many airheads "for comic relief."
MSNBC has been moved out of the lower channels in Calgary and moved up to "nobody pays for this stuff" levels, due to the fact that the ratings are below even the CBC News. No more "Hardball". I shall write to complain about that when I find time to care.
The question I am wrestling with at the moment is: Do leftist nutjobs actually join a club and receive a "Leftist Nutjob Talking Points" manual so that they can all spout exactly the same nonsense, or do they receive daily memos from head office with the current self-contradictory, offensive-to-the-intelligent daily phrase?
"This country and all of North America is in the midst of a cancer epidemic that nobody wants to talk about."
Elizabeth May , newly elected leader of the Federal Green Party as reported by CBC,August 26th. 2006.
Google 'cancer epidemic' and you will obtain 6,580,000 results.
did anyone notice that bob says the republican is a republican but the dem is something more? what a total commie scumbag!
Did anyone else notice that "FREE" has a crush on me ;-)
"Spitzer won an early vote of confidence in January 22, 2005 by gaining the endorsement of the Working Families Party, which has taken advantage of New York's electoral fusion system to act as a kingmaker over Democratic nominees. It is backed heavily by figures from community group ACORN and labor unions, particularly those that broke from the AFL-CIO to form the Change to Win Federation.
..
Electoral fusion is an arrangement where two or more political parties support a common candidate, pooling the votes for all those parties. By holding out on endorsing a major party's candidate, minor parties can influence the candidate's platform."
Of course Chris Matthews loved this guy. He makes for amusing television. He is too far out there to be taken seriously but just close enough to the mainstream to not be completely irrelevant. Chris may or may not agree with anything McCourt has to say, but he loves him for his entertainment value.
