A few weeks ago I mentioned I was "knee deep in race car painting". Today, I received pictures from the track, and thought I'd share one.

The blue base and clearcoat were applied by Bob Heroux, Lazer Auto Body in Saskatoon , and the car is driven by Bob Heroux and Shawn "Skippy" Zezula.

Gee... your job must be fun sometimes!
I'd have you paint something cool on my Cobalt, but GMAC would then get mad and make me pay to have it repainted at the end of the lease...
Can't have everything I want, I guess...
Oh, okay.....THAT sort of Drag Racing....I kinda wondered what was so interesting about watching men in dresses running a 10K.
You are one talented lady!!
Uh that's early 80's Mustang.
Nope, it's a Capri.
Don't matter if it's a D8 Cat ya gota like the paint job
I'm thinking that Syncro is talking about the nice lime green one in the SIR photo spread. We hauled my old 70 340 Dart out to SIR from here one back in the 80's for a weekend of racing. Cool spot. Track had a neat "down home racin'" atmosphere. Looks like they haven't lost it. My current ride is sitting in the garage suffering from terminal loss of oil pressure, and we haven't had the time to tear it apart and assess the carnage. We'd kinda like to haul it out to Saskatoon when it gets back together. If you have any other race car artwork ut there, share it Kate. Good chance I might even know some of these guys.
