You know what really gets me about the "Radical Christians are just as dangerous as Radical Islamists" line? I bet Rosie thought she was being intelligent.

On the left, saying the craziest, whacked-out things is seen as a sign of intelligence. Wow, they said something new and exciting (not that this is really that new, but it is shocking).

It's just like in university, where the point is to publish something that's never been said before. So no matter how ludicrous it is, people think you're brilliant.

The point is not to find truth; it's to say something new and shocking, as if that's a sign of intellectual prowess. And people actually buy this stuff. They don't realize they just sound like complete idiots to those who actually have a discerning brain.

I was guilty of this. As a small boy, I heard the "F" word for the first time. Having no idea what it meant, I promptly used it. My mother went ballistic and immediately washed my mouth out with a bar of Camay ( is Camay still around?)

As for The View, I could never stomach that Joy Behar for more than 30 seconds, so I really never sat down and watched a whole episode. Now I don't think I ever will.

Actually, if you consider that the "Radical Christians" are well represented by the Moonbat Sheehan Leftwing Conspiracy Human Shields - that those are the "Radical Christians" - then yes, those fixated ideologues can be dangerous especially when they side with radical Muslims.
But we all know she meant the straw-man "Religious Right" which is mostly a fictional foil of the MSM and a myopic and sophomoric projection of what Christianity might mean as viewed by hysterical people with little or no religious understanding or developmental experience besides some incidents in Catholic School...

After seriously contemplating this video for some time I can honestly say that Michelle Malkin when animated is so much more incredibly attractive than one would surmise from the still photo at her website. She’s like Liz Hurly, a still photo does neither of them justice!

Indeed: One of my daughters who has a PhD and lives in NYC, said exactly that at Christmas time while we walked the seawall in Vancouver: "fundamentalist Christianity is as dangerous as fundamentalist Islam". I was speechless, still am. Sigh. She is also mystified as to why I seem "prejudiced against muslims". Sigh. AND, she hated Rudi Guilliani who made it possible for her to live in NYC for 10 years without incident -- called him a facist for wanting to control sidewalk peddling. Sigh.

I can tell you one thing tho: knowing what I know now, I don't think I would subsidize a post-secondary education in Liberal Arts unless I was permitted to audit the course and proivde her simulateous translation.
