The answer is obvious. The consuquences are untallied.

Don't forget to vote for Stanfield too. He was tied. it would be nice to see a PC vs. a Reform/Alliance and shut the liberals out of the finals.

In the never too old to learn department, I was just reading up on George Cartier and found this Father of Confederation quite interesting. Like the fact that he was exiled for his roll in the 1837 Rebellion.

Political unrest and rebellion,
here, in Canada, in the past.
I am not making this up.

The comments are as always, enlightening. There are complaints that, with me sending readers to vote, the "wrong people" are participating somehow, and this invalidates the result.

Another glimpse into the mind of the left....

well Kate, your bias is showing as in [X] p manning.....

how is pointing this out 'leftistism'?

manning was a petite dictator THAT is why he deservedly flopped. his reforms were a sales pitch into stornoway.

actually it's more like one vote per ip address; but who's countin' eh?

Interesting - now it's not only inappropriate for conservatives to vote, it's unfair to campaign on behalf of a candidate.

The left - making up the rules as they go along!

Interesting too ...the comment that Canada gave Preston the boot...must remember Reform had 93 seats...in the House...with Preston...in Canada...(here it comes)...I'm not making this up...

Nice to see Robert Stanfield in there. He was a principled, honest, and smart individual. The aggravation this country could have been spared if he'd defeated Trudeau ... sigh!

I don't much care about Calgarygrit's poll per se, the interesting part is Kate turning the big guns of SDA readers on his poll. Poor fellow.

Shades of Lorne Calverts' stumble...

*giggle*

I hate CG's comments section. Only "Blogers" can make them?? OK, Here is what I would have said If I was allowed:

"I think her readership mainly consists of whiny reactionaries and outright bigots--"
Come on Kyle, tell us what you realy think.

OK, I guess I am one of your bigots.. I read SDA. I also read CG, Sinister Thoughts, The Amazing Wonderdog, and Dr. Dawg. Too bad the last two have had to go down for a bit.

I voted in the first round once, the second round once, and the the final four once. Did you vote more than once in each? If so then you are stuffing the ballot box my friend.

Too bad all libs weren't like CG, maybe I would have a better opinion of them, in the mean time I am going to stay Green.

I don't think that Kyle will see this, but I don't realy care.

For what it's worth... 2cents?

Cheers

the thing you have to credit turdeau, he knew how to play up this etherial 'charisma' to the max and thence into the PMO.

says a great deal about the oh so sophisticated and astute canukistan voter eh?

THEYRE STILL FALLING FOR ALL THE PROPAGANDA FROM THE VARIOUS PARTY HEADQUARTERS.

and they wont let you tell them the truth either.

If the left, who apparently know about the voting and are free to vote (but are clearly losing), claim that conservatives voting is unfair or something, then once again some of the stuff I'm famous for saying about leftists is backed up.

Of course I voted for Preston... for, ah, the ('93, '97)... third time!

But guess what? I assert that Stephen Harper will go down in history as the best PM we've ever had! Just watch him! ;-)

Kate said, "There are complaints that, with me sending readers to vote, the 'wrong people' [aka right thinkers] are participating somehow, and this invalidates the result."

Yeah, well. Look at what's been going on over at the Probe and Fail polling booths.
