dark matter?

some 15 years ago I began working on a comprehensive theory to explain and reconcile some aspects of known and science and some unknowns.

I dont think dark matter is some unusual x dimension vastly different substance that for example, repels instead of attracts.

I think 100s of trillions of stars have gone supernova in the past and left cold dark orphan planets drifting 100s of light years from any star.

they do not have the profile to block back lighting like a nebula or intergalactic dust, and they are so cold and distant they do not emit anything visible, and unlike black holes that disturb neighboring bodies, they arent heavy enough to do that.

their total mass however exceeds 'visible' matter.

I also think the earth was a star at some point. the earth did not form from a dust swirl over 5 billion years, not did any other planet. the solar system used to be a tight cluster of stars and when the 1st one popped, the gamma radiation made all the rest do likewise. the immense pressure from their detonations was enough to keep the resultant planet sized ball intact when the shock wave hit from the other stars popping off.

thus the proportion of elements is different for all planets; the earth has an iron core from millions of years of fusion when it was a star; ore deposits are the result of 'hot spots' in the supernova just right for that particular element; and a 4 billion yr half life of uranium is WAAAAAY too slow for radioactive decay to cause all the heat making and keeping MOST of the earth in a state of molten rock and besides, where are all the byproducts of decay in the lava that pours out all over the world and why isnt it radioactive?.

For that matter, is Canada? I've yet to get an answer to the question about what the supposedly Israel-friendly Harper government has actually done for Israel other than cheerlead. It's as if Israel were in a boxing match, and Harper, Bush and Blair are yelling out encouragement from the corner as their fighter is getting bloodied.

So Jaymeister, just what would you have Canada do? In the boxing ring it isn't fair to hop into the ring to help the bloodied fighter you know. Maybe we could send them military support? Naaa, their military is better equipped than Canada. Giving moral support to an allie should not be dismissed as nothing. Sometimes knowing who your friends are can be advantagous.

Cleaning Venetian Blinds: I've just done three in about twenty minutes.

1) Choose a hot, sunny, preferably windy day.

2) Hang the blinds on a fence outside.

3) Use a soft cloth and hot, soapy water--I used Ivory dish detergent. Liberally wash the convex side (the dirtiest) first, rinsing well with cold hose water.

4) Reverse sides and repeat procedure for the concave side.

5) Half open the blind for better air movement.

6) Leave to dry for a few hours.

Le viola! Nice clean blinds: And, true confessions, it's been two years since I did them last, which tells what kind of a housekeeper I am!

Then sit back--or do something else worthwhile--and feel very good about your efficient, effective job well done ;-)
