And CTV's headline news network ran a phoney toy clip too, I saw earlier tonight, while going to an ad (I don't know if it later featured in a full story): a pristine (but not new) suitcase partially open with a half of a doll sticking out of it at the foot of a pile of rubble with no one standing around at all. (So it wasn't as if the alleged homeowner was surveying damage with his meagre family belongings in a suitcase beside him.)

We are informed that Stern Magazine in Germany is running a long story tomorrow, carrying an interview with "Green Helmet". The contents page entitles the piece:

LIBANON Wie ein Rettungshelfer aus der Stadt Kana als Hisbollah-Agent verleumdet wurde. Die Spur führt nach England.

Translated, this is:

LEBANON. Rescue worker from Qana smeared as Hezbollah Puppet. Allegations trace back to England.

Apparently, his name is Ist Salam Daher and, according to a one report from a reader, he claims to be have been a rescue worker for ten years. He is a father of three children and claims he is "no hezbollah-guy". We are told he says that he showed one dead child to the photographers in Qana "in order to get rid of them."

Do they really have a passion for dolls? Of course we know the message, Israelis are killing children, only the dolls survived, UNTOUCHED. Who would ever have imagined, dolls as propaganda props? Sadly we have to concern ourselves with a MSM whom we cannot trust and seem to have gone far off the rails with their leftist agendas. Anyone reading the news out of Britain today of the thwarted plot to blow up as many as 10 Airplanes crossing the Atlantic to the US may take pause. It's time the political correctoids among us get their heads out of their nether regions and realize the serious threat from the Islamists of the world. We have no way of sorting the radicals from the passives. The media has to come to their senses and stop aiding and abetting the terrorists in order to score political points. Together we stand, divided we fall as someone once said.

In the battle to control the information coming out of Lebanon, Hizballah has definitely got the media on its side. But for the first time, thanks to Adnan Hajj and his lack of Photoshop skill, the media are being held to account for acting as tools for a terrorist group.

This is a good time to point out AP’s statement about allegations the Qana photographs were stage-managed by Hizballah (hat tip: Geepers). From AP senior vice president and executive editor Kathleen Carroll:

“It’s hard to imagine how someone sitting in an air-conditioned office or broadcast studio many thousands of miles from the scene can decide what occurred on the ground with any degree of accuracy,” said Kathleen Carroll, AP’s senior vice president and executive editor.

Carroll said in addition to personally speaking with photo editors, “I also know from 30 years of experience in this business that you can’t get competitive journalists to participate in the kind of (staging) experience that is being described.”
