Near Miss In Germany

Well the "if we get out of Iraq" argument just went down the toilet. I'm pretty sure Germany's about as involved in that one as Canada is. Has it ever occured to the aplologists that they just don't like us and they'll ever give us are cold & pricklies NOT warm & fuzzies?

Slowly but surely, the Islamic fascists are going to get everyone's dander up to the point that other nations stop standing in the way of real reprisals against their petulant BS.

When that happens, I wouldn't want to be in a Muslim country's population centers. They are ill equipped to play 'global thermonuclear war'. The 12th Imam will truly be their only salvation, and I suspect that will turn out to be a baseless belief, as is the rest of their stupid, imperialistic religion.

The radical Islamists will continue to try and kill as many infidels as possible. They will be successful sometimes and revel in their triumphalism. This will in the end be their downfall as they will have drunk so much of their own bathwater they will start to believe themselves superior in all aspects and they will wake-up the warrior in currently peaceful nations.

Let them murder a few thousand Christian Germans and the Teutonic heart will beat against its imposed pacifist restraints. Do it a couple of times and the German’s will breathe new life into their dormant war machine

Let them kill a few thousand Christian French and their Napoleonic heart will scream for revenge.

I do believe the west will wake up one day, in a few years. We are not there yet. Our enemies have already woken up and have a jump on us, but this will be long war and the casualties will be immense.

The real war will start when Iran launches a nuke at Tel Aviv. The Israelis will likely shoot it down but use the provocation to retaliate – they will nuke all the Iranian nuke sights and in a show of restraint, will explode a nuke at 100,000 ft over Tehran – to show power and mercy at the same time.

I give it 3 -4 years, unless the Iranian regime and economy collapse from internal rot first.

I'm usually the last in the room to suspect a conspiracy...BUT...Arabic writing,Lebanese phone numbers and bags left in TWO suitcase bombs which both happened to malfunction,causing NO harm?...A valuable bit of propaganda to those wishing to influence the Germans I say.
Yeah,I know if you can't build one bomb correctly you probably can't do two properly either.I also suspect the Germans have already explored this,possibly explaining the long delay before going public.
Oh well,theories aside,it will be interesting to see who takes credit,if any group is willing to publicly admit to this level of incompetence.

Let's not be too hasty to blame the Islamists for this bomb plot. The only details that German authorities have released about the suspects are that they are from "southern countries." And that one of the bags contained a smaller bag from a business in Beirut with Arabic text doesn't mean the plot can in any way be connected to instability in Lebanon.

I suspect it's that terrorist organization known as Broad Strata, or B.S. for short, behind this.

Because most third worlds countries keep their people in the dark,there is ignorance.An ignorance and lack of historical perspective that blinds them to the real extent of western military power.

As someone who has family members who have fought against and alongside the Germans, i can state with some conviction that i would rather have the German forces on our side,then to have to fight against them.
They would exact a heavy toll..I remember a quote from my school texts that stated "you have not known war 'till you have fought the German.."

Could this be the media's new assault on profiling? In the most oblique nuanced manner add Italians, Greeks and Spaniards to the Ususal(make that Only) Suspects list, then, if the public guesses Islamofascists correctly, well, we are the bigots.

This story is huge in the German MSM, don't worry. I take rather a personal interest since I was in both the Koblenz and Cologne train stations not many days before the terrorists were. As for the strange way of describing suspects, it seems to be standard. While in Germany I noticed a detailed "Wanted" poster also described suspects as from "southern countries." (The poster, by the way, didn't survive 24 hours.)
