Well, if the guy is that stupid, that is as good a way to go as any. Apparently there was another guy in the shop who isn't any brighter, he is facing a very long, long, painful recovery. That is one of the dumbest things ever.
Hope the missing eleven are rounded up before August 22nd..
Last time I recall this happening, the missing were found at the controls of airliners.
This is an excerpt from the WSJ **Thinker** Rferred to above...August 22nd.
**What is the significance of Aug. 22? This year, Aug. 22 corresponds, in the Islamic calendar, to the 27th day of the month of Rajab of the year 1427. This, by tradition, is the night when many Muslims commemorate the night flight of the prophet Muhammad on the winged horse Buraq, first to "the farthest mosque," usually identified with Jerusalem, and then to heaven and back (c.f., Koran XVII.1). This might well be deemed an appropriate date for the apocalyptic ending of Israel and if necessary of the world.
It is far from certain that Mr. Ahmadinejad plans any such cataclysmic events precisely for Aug. 22. But it would be wise to bear the possibility in mind.** [The WSJ]

Reminds me of the Bugs Bunny cartoons where he is at a conveyor line hitting bombs with a hammer and stamping "DUD" on them after they don't go off, and then fades out to "Nyyeeeeeah, its a living!"
see, the way it works is this:
these mundane tortuously boring jobs cause the employee to go really dumbed down. the repetitiveness of the day shuts down all but automated actions like breathing or walking.
simply put, people in these type of jobs are on auto-pilot and aren't really thinking.
its why I never wanted a car factory job after hearing horror stories about people turning out millions of spark plugs in the course of a year and nothing more.
you simply could not pay me enough in realistic terms, to do that, I did not want my brain to turn to porridge.
darwinism has asserted itself in any event.
I vote we take up a collection to hand out sledge hammers to hezbollah.....
The 'hammer wielding blacksmith' probably secured his job with the help of the BC Human Rights Commission. They appear to be the crying sholder of all the unfortunates in the work place world. Case in point in this morning's Vancouver Sun (bottom rignt hand corner of page 3): A BC firm fires a welder after he supposedly becomes legally blind. Firm gets fined $40 thou..... This dumb country boy was given to understand that welding was one of those 'hand-eye-coordination' things? So what exactly is a firm to do with a blind welder on the payroll? Set him up in the corner of the workshop and have him unassemble grenades?

Plot to blow up planes broken up in U.K.
NY1 | August 10, 2006 | self
In a statement filled with somber and serious tones regarding the discovery of a plot to blow up flights of commercial planes in the United Kingdom, the strongest levels of anger and outrage have been expressed. The spokesperson demanded the attention of the American people and called for an immediate investigation into how such a thing could take place "even after all that has taken place in the past several months". Bill Keller, the editor of the New York Times, and the spokesman asked for the patients of his readers. In a stark display of outrage, Keller pounded a table... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1681049/posts
Canadian Federal Liberal insider, and Liberal party organizer Joe Morselli (Explody Joe) knows what being blown up is like!
He also owns/owned the food concession in the RCMP secure building.
Why this blog? Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice
of an ordinary Canadian
yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

mailserver in Europe)
I can't answer or use every
tip, but all are
appreciated!

That's terrible. Someone died, even if it is natural selection, and even if they are stupid enough to deserve it.

They better start putting appropriate warning labels on those things. The last thing arms manufacturers need is a lawsuit on their hands.

The number of terrorists rounded up ,[was that 21?] is considered only part of the whole.
Others remain at large but may be reluctant to go through with their part with the extra security laid on. At least I hope so.
Thousands owe their lives to the diligence and sense of duty of the British. = TG
