Troll Patrol

This woman is hard-left and was working on the faculty of a university. While one shouldn't tar the vast hordes of lefties based on one individual she, like Bigshittyliberal, is one of their self-appointed spokesmen, a "social activist", a "progressive". Bear in mind that Robert McClelland leapt at the chance to defend and support her, his colleague. Let us take a trip down memory lane and re-visit her posts on the conservative "Protein Wisdom" blog...

There's more than a whiff of sulphur in Deb Frisch's outpourings.

I'm glad that someone--being the judiciary--has finally taken this woman's rantings seriously. It is obvious that she is deeply disturbed and needs some kind of help, but despite her 'victimhood,' there's a nasty and malicious streak in her posts and one wonders where they might be going.

When you threaten people and sign suicide notes in the blogosphere with others' names, it's obvious that the mischief thereof is not innocent or naive.

The word "evil" comes to mind. If you're too 'enlightened' to believe there is such a thing, that's unfortunate. It just means that you're not armed against a powerful enemy (and I don't mean Deb Frisch, but the spirit she may be channelling)...

I hope that law enforcement is able to help this woman and, more important, I hope there is justice served for the victims of her malfeasance.

The real question regarding someone who is stalking, obsessive, threatening and irrational is what potential is there for them to physically harm someone. So far, her threats have been veiled. She has been shrewd or in control enough to not cross a line where she can be placed on a mental health involuntary hold as a clear and present danger to others. But, can she stay in control?

You've got to ask yourself how this woman of long standing troubled behavior rode the academic circuit for so long. How much of her standing as a lesbian and leftist, so favored in certain departments, accorded her protection all of these years?

Actually, I had recently started to wonder if RobertJ and Frisch weren't the same person. The both indiscriminately sprinkle words written in caps in their posts, they both like to attack people's children (while using the word "progeny"), and he "wishes" death for people he argues with (recently said to me, "I genuinely hope YOU brycie are on that train that al quada hits next time around.")

As a re-read Frisch's posts, the similarities are striking.

Frisch is obviously mentally deranged and somewhat beyond criticism.

What was instructive was watching some on the left defend her early on.

I can't see that she's beyond criticism. If she were beyond criticism, then how would it be possible for her to be prosecuted? The lawyer of the person who has charged her will, in fact, be levelling criticism at her and will try to prove that there was malfeasance in her posts and phone calls, and that she knew what she was doing.

Otherwise, wouldn't she have to be found to be mentally insane and locked up in order to be beyond criticism?

Re RobertJ: Earlier in the day he seems even reasonable. It seems that the later and longer he posts, the zanier and more out of control he becomes. I've got my theories. But whatever the reason, he can certainly be very offensive and over the top, as bryceman's noted.

Good point. Which is why you can rule out psychosis as the problem with this woman. I think she is a big malignant personality disorder - anti-social, narcissistic, histrionic, your pick or all of the above - probably fueled on alcohol or some substance.

She's left herself open to attack as an offensive troll and I won't give her a pass. No one is holding her hands to the keyboard.

We were having a discussion about the merits of a claim that someone makes about a perceived status of people as either POWs or criminal defendants. I did attack your ideas...and dealt with them handily. I did not call you names (like bushist). I did not characterize you at all.

Then, you began being insulting. There is no need for me to list them off...the thread is still visible. I responded by saying that you are clearly speaking without the benefit of education...that your opinion, which you have every right to...is without logical or historical basis. That is not personal. That is an attack on ideas and their foundation.

Personal is when you go after someone's family...or tell them that you hope they are killed. That is not tit-for-tat. That is an attempt at one-up-manship. I understand what you are trying to do. You are trying to frustrate people at a level that goes beyond what you received...so that you will occupy as much real estate in their minds as possible.

Openly wishing death on someone because you are losing an argument would be offensive if it weren't so sad. Sad, because you hide behind a handle. I am sure you would not be brave enough to speak that way to anyone face-to-face...because then you could be identified. Is that not what a coward does? (That's also not a personal attacke...it is an honest question. If you don't think that behaving one way behind a shield and another way exposed in the open is the mark of a coward, then say so.)

Give your name. Give your address. Show how brave you are. Prove to everyone that you are not a lower lifeform and that you have the courage of your convictions.

I have nothing to prove because I haven't said anything here that I wouldn't say directly and face-to-face to a person in a debate of the same level - with the other person triggering the insult game.

You claim that you have a special "agreement" with Kate that allows you do get away with "Frischist" behaviour. If true, it is...mind-boggling.

In any case, if Kate has seen fit you let you stay here...I will accept it. But, only because I like the other people here more than I disapprove of your existence. BTW: That disapproval is not because of you attacking my family or wishing my death. But, because those things are evidence that you may be a Frisch in waiting.
