The person at CTV said that what we will see in terms of coverage locally will depend on what is fed to them (Calgary) by TO. I suggested she pass the word along to TO that this rally is happening just to make sure that TO has the word. I really don’t want to miss the coverage on this one.

I will be there with my Canadian Flag. I will also phone back the CTV shop to make sure they know about this – wouldn’t want them to use the excuse – gee we hadn’t heard about this one!
I phoned CTV to make sure the Calgary Peace Rally is on their agenda for tomorrow and they assured me that yes, they will be there.
Inerestingly – they claimed they had done a “piece” a couple of days ago and mentioned the date/time/place of the rally.
I’ve been watching a whole lot of news and reading quite a few papers these days and did not see this announcement or the “piece”
Anyway – I can only hope that somehow the word has got out so there will be a counter-protest.
One of the big problems is that somehow the MSM enjoys reporting on the local news after such a rally has already happened – and then we also get whatever spin they choose to put on it.
