There was a rally today in Saskatoon to support these criminals. A spokesperson (identified as Colleen Thomas) was interviewed on radio claiming that Six Nations invented democracy and that their system of governance was inspiration for Benjamin Franklin.
Apparently, they’ve forgotten how it works since then.
UPDATE: The website at CitizensofCaledonia.ca has now been pulled due to threats and intimidation. That’s too bad, but considering the documented acts of property damage and arson, perhaps it was considered too risky to continue publishing the photographic evidence.

Here in the reality-based community, we call this sort of thing TERRORISM.

The only way to handle this is to set up road blocks further down the road from the Six Nations’. That way media access is limited and with limited media attention, well..they get no attention and after sitting at a road block with nobody well…paying attention…what’s the point if nobody pays attention?
The MSM’s coverage has been abysmal. The poor people of Caledonia have lost what is the very foundation of Western Civilization: the rule of law.
What is especially disgusting is that the MSM has not been questioning the charges of racism against those who are less than pleased with 2 months of violent anarchy.
What we have is various levels of government passing the buck and media coverage that lacks context of the dispute.
How is it that Caledonians protesting violent anarchy are termed a racist mob, while those burning tires and wanting race-based laws are the peaceful protestors??

Since Ipperwash was brought up here is a letter taken from the testimony during the inquiry wrote by my MPP Marcel Beaubien to Queens Park I believe, in regards to the situation around the army camp and provincial park.

The company I work for was working in Ipperwash shortly after Dudley was shot and during the West Ipperwash beach land claim I got to talk to many residents, and heard their stories. Since my relaying some of the details would be hear say, all I can really say is anyone thinking the land and home they own is somehow safe and really their own should pay very close attention to what really happens when natives get greedy, and they have their sights on “your” property.
It isn’t pretty . Paying property tax and being a good citizen doesn’t mean squat when your dealing with the “industry” of land claims.

I am a citizen of caledonia! we need a leader! these indians need to go! The Indians are getting a ton of support. We need people from across Ontario to come and stand with us. To come and physically remove the blockade that the cops and the indians have built. We ask for anyone willing to organize a huge protest to come down and help us finish this off! I must be getting very old and grumpy but stuff like this makes me much more angry than ever before. I am tired of all this political correctness crap that allows these early Canadian terrorists to do whatever they want to with little or no consequences for their actions. I can just imagine how a standoff like this would be handled if a group of good old white boys blocked off a piece of highway and claimed that the land had been stolen from their ancestors. I am willing to bet that it would have lasted about 3 hours in length and they would be all in the crowbar hotel awaiting court appearances right now.
This country is supposed to have one set of rules for its citizens, no matter where they come from, or what colour their skin is. It is time for us all to demand that we will not allow any group to hold our country hostage. What we see happening now in regards to native issues is really stupid.

There is some great reading on this site-I learned a few things night-barely any coverage coming from MSM as expected. You can go to this site and find out exactly what the issues are and yes-there is a 59 page document on the history of this land and guess what-these lands were SURRENDERED TO THE CROWN WITH THE CONSENT OF THE CHIEF. That makes this land NOT the Indians. There is even an Indian lawyer who says the same thing.

May I suggest that everyone read the freedom speech at this site. This land was surrendored back to the government by the chief, the Indian’s received money for this land already. I think the point everyone is missing is that this is free hold land. Right now no one’s land is safe. Take a look at BC 110% of the province is under land claims. Why the H*@# are we buying land? Mary Jane, what I’ve surmised from the MSM is that the Indian Act chiefs gave up the land, but the hereditory tribal chiefs/”clan-mothers” see things differently and are reclaiming their “sovereign” territory. This is not just about Caledonia. Land claims across the country need to be settled.

Kate has a very good site here and would not want “in my opinion” to give the left more ammunition. Probably not a problem as vast majority here seem to suffer from common sense anyway. I do believe in sending in the Army if nessesary only due to our experiance in dealing with “dozens” of road blocks in other countries. The vast majority ended without a shot being fired. These people are not our enemy and many Aboriginals are my friends. I also believe we should not cave in on this issue or it might become the norm. End the road block one way or another then let the courts work for a living. It would be nice to do it in reverse but time could be getting short. Unless the plan is to ignore it till it goes away.

I believe that all rational and practical Canadians are (or would be, if they paid attention) frustrated and enraged by the actions of the aboriginal Canadians that occur on a daily basis…I believe that most would concur with the general theme running through the comments here, which is give the offending people an ultimatum, then send in the armed forces and, if they make any more noise, shut off the money.
