  1. Without the propagation of duplicitous steriotyping the left can gravite public discourse into a personal attack of their enemies ….without this they would be forced to debate on the issues. The left have no counter point or constructive alternative to Bush policies…..they run entirely on the “bush is evil” saw and negatively stereotyping him and any “group” ( leftists love groups) supporting him, puts the debate at a gutteral level and a war of personalities rather than a debate of the issues.
“Nya Nya…Bush is a pea brain cowboy….anyone who supports him is a “neo-con…”Neo-cons are Neander-cons…knuckle draggers”…bla bla bla bla ad infinitum…the left’s discourse resembles the nastyness and incivility of the sand box.
This makes sense at least in the US political theater because the Dems are esentially American radical socialists…these people are dangerous when in power and absolutely rabid and incoherent when out of power.

  2. sarge here, perhaps you had missed the part where only somewhere between 36 and 43% of us support the little moron IN ANY WAY(depending on who’s poll you believe)? its not just that he’s a know nothing little jerk of a fake cowboy(he’s scared of horses and only bought the “ranch” in 1999),but most of us also realize he’s not really in charge anyway, not evil per say, just a maleable, mean hearted little dry alcoholic-the cartoons are only putting a face on something much darker than a spoiled little frat boy mascot for cheney and the like. even our repubblican party is getting the clue.
btw, i’m not a democrat or a socialist, rather, a american patriot….hoping to live my life as our constitution meant it to be lived….maybe ya ought to read that fine document sometime? we, thye real american patriots, are a bit worried that little bush’s minions want to repeal large parts of that fine document. anyway, since few americans are “socialists”, even is a majority of us claim to be democrats, it sort of shoots yer ignorant little theory, don’t it? good lord, it must be hard for you to maintain that level of f*ckwit-ism in the face of reality….maybe you should…uhm, try to understand whats up in the US before ya start talking shit…it makes ya look real stupid, to real americans, anyway….ya know, every day ya spend in the “blogo-spere” reading and spouting crap, charlie is out in the bush eating fish heads and getting stronger…bahahaha! I made a FUNNY!

  3. I don’t like or dislike Bush…personally I think he has the mindset of a Kennedy/Johnston-era democrat without the balls. Then again Jack Kennedy never revisited the Bay of Pigs ( which he should have made sure he won) and the world paid the price in an unprecidented nuclear stand off.
My point is that negative stereo typing and name calling devolve open discussion of Bush policies to a emotional personal attack. The gut level reflexive emotion this produces aids the chicken hawks and policy scammers hiding bad policy behind emotional, reflexive patriotc defense mechanisms.
The left are their own worst enemies by making a big personal and emotional attack on the Bush administration instead of attacking the weakness in their policies and offering well reasoned alternatives….but they don’t the left is a stuck record…”Bush bad, Bush Bad, Bush bad….no reson to support the Dems except “Bush bad”….do you really think this will translate into conning Americans to give them contol of the government?
From where I sit, Bush is a mediocre leader who had this terrorism thing thrust on him and he only half-way rose to the occasion….if you start a war…win it. He’s allowed the Left and the MSM to run the military just like Nam…and the left and their MSM have NEVER won a war for America. Aside from that, his immigration and trade policies suck…total confusion and ad hoc policy….he needs real hawks in his foreign department and real economists in his domestic portfolios….I think Bush is a go-along to get along kind of President….certainly not the man of difinitive action he’s touted as.
At any rate, cowboy cartoons and name calling do nothing but put more patriotic types in the Bush camp.
As for Kanadians not liking Bush…who cares?… their vote chnages little in their own nation and effects less than zero in the US.

  4. Hey Sarge: dont look now, but youre adding validity to the loud mouthed Yankee asshat stereotype. Enjoy your fish heads.
As a dual citizen I’m encouraged to cancel your vote out in 2008

  5. Umm… I think “Charlie” of the fish head eating refers to what the US GIs called the Vietnamese soldiers during ‘Nam.
Of course, perhaps the sarge’s name is Charlie and he likes to gnaw on fish heads? And would someone please explain to him the concept of capitalization?
The sarge claims he’s conservative, but no true conservative would say that stupid crap about President Bush. As a claimed military guy, the sarge should understand that. Bush is right. Bush is the good guy and we must support and respect him. Imagine the world if Kerry had won… (shudder)!
John F. Kerry, btw, looks like one of those heads on Easter Island, doesn’t he? Puzzling and useless.

  6. Steve: my reference was to ” Victor Charlie” ( the VC)…any ex ground pounder that sides with the scum that are attempting to derail presidential power as commander and chief of the military in a state of war ARE sitting right beside “charlie” in his rice paddy gnawing on shared fish heads.
America’s 5th column has a lot of unwitting followers doing their bidding. I think Michael Savage has it right…..”the enemy within” will defeat the US military and win wars for the enemy every time…Nam was the test…the 5th column recruited millions of brain dead lefies who betrayed their nation’s sovereign interests… to allow the vacant press and crass politicians to run the war instead of generals, drawing it out into a protracted defeat after the enemy was on the ropes and ready to surrender after the US bombing…the pro enemy apologists at home snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by intervening in the miltary plan ( bombing) which brought them to the peace table then gushing all over them like insane jesters ( Hanoi Jane and Hanoi John)…
….Sun Tsu had exactly the same obsevation 2400 years ago when he wrote that a ruler cannot run an army or defeat and enemy in war like he administers government to his people in his own nation. He must let generals run the war to “smash an enemy like an egg agains griststone” and keep politicians from “dulling their swords”.
In other words, long protracted military adventures allow opportunist politicians and malicious power brokers to subvert power from the generals and emperil victory in war. Bush has allowed the Iraq conflict to go too long by not listening to his generals and having politicians in his cabinet run the war. Iraq could be won with total commitment to this end…but this will take resolve to deal with those agitating the Iraqi resistance from outside Iraq’s borders…this means committed, resolve to swift immediate solutions to their interference…..but Bush can’t do this because he foolishly declared the war over and he is unjustified in starting another one until this one is finished ( he’s snookered himself) His “restructuring of Iraq has been so long in the public eye portrayed as the protracted war that it really is, that even the opposition party and its media is running the war by effecting his decisions.
I think that the greatest sin would be to allow the rabid hate-American dupes and media lose this war like they did in Nam. The loss of life would all be for nothing if they leave Iraq to the mercy of theo-fascism terrorists. The war against terror will take decades and so far Bush was correct in chosing the battlefield and keeping the war off native soil..but that can change in a heart beat with this enemy…he will take advantage of the slightest weakness and make America and her allies homes the battle ground and their citizens the the targets. Until Bush and his ilk win the war at home against the enemy within, all foreign US military engagements are in jeoprody. I always said the terrorist act was unnecessary and constitutionally wreckless….what we ( Canada and the US) need is strict enforcement and prosecution of treason and sedition. America IS at war until Islamic terrorim is defunct…anyone hindering efforts to defeat this enemy in time of war is a traitor….by my estimation 1/2 of Hollywood should be deported to Iran starting with that collaborationist Penn.
Bush may just snach defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq by allowing his enemy to control the war… by allowing fundmentalist bundists at Al Jazeera to collude with the anti American propagandists in his own nation. I would have thought the AJ would be a military target…just as Hitler’s, Hirohito’s and Ho Chi Minh’s propaganda machines were military targets….yet Bush leaves AJ open to spew demoralizing crap to US troops and the homeland.
There is no 3rd way where war is concerned….you either win or lose ( perish) and those who would incumber Bush and America’s war on terror are determined America should lose….which puts Sarge right in the terrorist Imam’s camp, paraising Mohamed’s Jihad with fish heads on his breath.

  7. All this nashing of teeth about the failure in Iraq is simply bullshit. The Iraqi people have proven they would run over broken glass and worse to vote. Those people desire freedom like a drowning man desires oxygen. Iraq is already more of a Democracy than Canada, France, Germany, Russia, and of course China.
Because Socialists do not value freedom, they tend to underestimate it’s power and appeal to those who have lived under the jackboot prescribed by the socialist left. Iraq has crawled, then walked and then ran toward Democracy with our media constantly squalling “faster, cleaner, smarter, better”.
The Iraqi people demand freedom and they will have it. Won’t look like Canada and won’t look like the US. Who cares. It’s their call and they will decide. The war was won before it began.
