  1. This sort of coverage by Al Jazeera is a hopeful sign. If the Iraqi people ever turned their collective gaze against the so-called insurgents, the insurgents would have a much harder time planning and executing these attacks.

  2. Yummy! A BBC article about media bias. Arab media bias. It’s going to be a good day if I can stop this inane giggling.

  3. It’s ironic whenever you hear the MSM’s pick up on it and claim that arabs blowing each other up is really fighting against the USA.
    One point for ALJAZEERA.

  4. Muslim shit hole and Banada .
The CBC does it’s best to hide the oppressors theft and malfiance in this country and paints all politicos as bad so as to hide the identities of the perps.
Al jezeera on the other hand is actually reporting the identities of the victims and the criminal murderers.
    Both hate Americans.

  5. Why are they called insurgents? Years ago these idiots would have been branded counter revolutionaries. When they fight amongst themselves, it is not insurgent vs. insurgent but reactionary vs. revanchist. Look, I’m no fan of the nomenclature of yesteryear, but if it helps to clarify the situation, if it helps in jogging the conscience of the so called liberal minded, then so be it. Let them harken back to those vainglorious days and the simple precepts therein: counter revolutionary bad; reactionaries and revanchists bad.

  6. Insurgent groups now fighting each other. It just means that things are getting back to normal in that neck of the woods. If left to their own devices, without the intervention of the US, the coalition, and the UN, the insurgents will settle this on their own as they have for hundreds of years: ie, the most ruthless, barbaric, and heavily armed faction will achieve power over the others, and life (and death) will go on as usual. It’s a pity, but it’s the only sort of ‘democracy’ these types of thugs can understand.

  7. Iraqis have been on the American’s side for a while now. It is just hard to see this on the cbc.
