About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

Actually, EMP is a serious potential threat.
But seriously, if a nuke is ever used, the world will change rapidly and dramatically. Plans sitting on shelves since the cold war will be dusted off and examined. And NO price is too high to put the nuclear genie back into the bottle.
Unfortunately, the islamofascists are apparently unaware that critical military equipment is silverplated. Look that one up.
So the Iranians take out ten million ipods and cell phones - and all they have to pay for that is making our nuking them completely justified (not that the un and the lefties will see it that way).
Hell Jay, you know if Iran fires a nuke, or EMP and kills millions of people, the lefties will blame the US or the Jews. They always do, they can never look at things in a realistic manner...... damn LLL losers.
Might I remind the Iranians that the USofA has in its possession some submarines, equipped with missiles, and protocols? And to my knowledge, it remains the policy of the USoA to retialiate to a nuclear attack with devastating force.
This is noise.
It is a good thing I didn't read this article before 3 p.m. yesterday. At 3 p.m. there was a power outage on my street. If I had known about this article at that time, I am sure I would have pooped my pants thinking about the Possible torment I would have to endure with no electricity for monthes or maybe years.
How would I be able to make stupid comments at "Small Dead Animals"?
How would I be able to buy and test the next version of Windows?
How would I be able to follow the Gomery inquiry?
What would become of me if I could no longer do the things in life that really matter, as illustrated above?
"How would I be able to follow the Gomery inquiry?"
Maybe that's why Canada pulled out of BMD? Iran fires it's Missiles'r'Us missile at US, hits Canada. Government announces (by mail and lefty papers) no internet or TV for several years - because of that Gomery and elections postponed several years.
After a couple years and several billion dollars, government manages to do enough rewiring to allow one channel back on the air - the cbc.
I sent this to Wretchard a week ago, and he referenced it on the Belmont Club Blog.

A good read if you like scary movies, the concept of MAD, and other such stuff.
That theoretical letter is no worry, since Bush is in not kerry. Bush would be telling us about it the same day he got it - and taking action.
If they use a nuke on us we'd nuke them back. We may do something like tell them they have one week to evacuate Tehran, but the problem with that is the Iranians would likely move a few million women and children into the city.
If they use their nuke on Israel, they won't get a warning - and it won't stop at one city. We won't be able to stop that either even if we wanted to. At very best we might convince the Israelis to not nuke any cities "too close" to the Iraqi border.
In either case, the Iranians simply have no idea who they're messing with. If they're going to nuke us (or even the Israelis), I just hope they do it while Bush is still in office.
And I thought at first that that was 24 Sussex Dr being moved to PM's farm in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. Gotta have some place to keep his flock.
