  1. Did you see the look of glee on Mike Duffy as he sat back and let these two go. I think he was trying to correct Volpe on not calling them the Klan but he couldn’t get a word in edgewise.

  2. I dunno, I saw the original clip a couple of times anad I’m sure he said the Klu Klux Klan was alive & well in the CPC. Duffy should have played him the clip.
What a pathetic idiot, especially when he told Ezra HE was pathetic.
I wonder what kind of drugs he’s on?

  3. I am no Ezra Levant fan but man oh man it was like shooting fish in a barrel.
Volpe is just making an idiot of himself taking offense to something that he shouldnt.
Do people of Italian decent take offense to the SHOW the Soprano’s…sure they do. Not all just some members because they feel that show pepetuates an image. They are happier with the show Everybody loves Raymond as a better representation of Italian descended North Americans.
Now to turn around and be mad at “riffing” a show about crime…well if Joe was a teacher he clearly was never an English teacher because he is missing the meaning of the word satire.
Ezra is correct, joe is saving his own skin in vaughn by trying to incite his own community over a false charge. The Liberals are losing their hold over the Italian community in this country and they are increasingly going conservative. Joe is on the wrong end of history and ethnocentric politics in the Northwest part of toronto is disappearing in that community. Joe is one generation off.
More importantly though, this whole discussion is a distraction from corruption, corruption and more corruption.
Then again I am a mange cake

  4. Interesting… Here’s the caption below the clip on ctv’s site:
“Citizen and Immigration Minister Joe Volpe and Western Standard publisher Ezra Levant discuss Volpe’s statement and a Conservative attack on the Liberals.”
Notice how they demonize the conservatives with the word “attack” and don’t say anything about why they’re attacking… subtle

  5. I saw Volpe interviewed during the last election and immediately thought he was the ideal prototype for the typical Liberal cabmin. Nothing of substance to say at all. He only knows his talking points and how to attack the Conservatives as being extreme. Long on pandering, short on substance, zilch on policy.
Last night he came across as an arrogant blowhard who thinks it’s the Liberals’ God-given right to govern, as opposed to those knuckle-dragging Conservatives. After watching him make a complete ass of himself on national TV last night, I did up a little graphic that would most certainly offend his fragile sensibilities if he were ever to see it. You can click on my name and check it out.

  6. Volpe had something of substance to say at his press conference to announce the new fast track immigrant relatives program. It was a blatant threat that immigrants better vote Liberal or grandma would never get into Canada.

  7. Mr. Volpe is a Librano so it only makes sense that he was thinking of delineated klan designations in terms of “families”. It helps to speak the language 😉

  8. Joe Volpe is outraged by comparing Liberals to a criminal organization? Joe’s complaint got a good laugh here at the asylum, where former people who believed in the Liberals are treated. Mrs “k” (identity hidden at her request as she’s ashamed to admit she was a Liberal) a former Liberal cabinet minister laughed hilariously during the CTV segment featuring Joe and Ezra. Later she handed me the following notes just before she was injected and strapped back in her straight jacket by an attendant:
…Fictitious hourly charges, in some cases chalked up to employees who didn’t exist for work that was never done… the padding was recommended by Chuck Guit…Asked whether he was told to provide fake invoices, Coffin admitted he was…
…After hearing that an ally of prime minister Jean Chrtien disguised $6.7 million in commissions he reaped from the sponsorship program…
…Mr. Bliveau said he later received $75,000 to $100,000 in an envelope full of $20 and $100 bills from Mr. Corriveau…

  9. Just watched the video. Kate’s Librano meme seems to hav weeked a raw nerve with the self-righteous Mr. Volpe. Good.
