In an effort to make her appear slightly less ridiculous if she repeats this deeply offensive gesture, I offer a few comments.

*The right (gloved) hand salutes, when it is not attempting to strangle its owner.

*The left (ungloved) hand makes a futile attempt to restrain the right hand, or holds a circular sliderule.

*The hairdo and eyeglasses approximate those used by Peter Sellers, but the outfit is just sloppy. Buy a proper early-1960s suit.

*Dr. Strangelove is a masterpiece. Bush=Hitler and its derivatives are just dreck.

*Dr. Strangelove is a comedy of a satirical bent. I'm not sure if this is a tragedy or a farce.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. In the linked story they say Garofalo is comparing the Republican's dipping their fingers in ink as a sign of solidarity with Iraqi votes to the Nazi salute. Your post seems to imply something else.
