Yes, yes, yes. If you do not think that the Australian election is a big deal, then think about how the newspapers and networks would spin it if John Howard had lost. I am so happy that scenario is a hypothetical.
The election result inspired me to go to the local store and buy a bottle of Aussie wine. I have just finished it. Hope Estate Hunter Valley Wollemi 2002 Shiraz. Nice and thick and plumy, highly recommended. It inspired me to post comments here and at “protein wisdom”; for the later, see my obnoxious, cranky response to an obnoxious leftist on the post “More Music for Robert” before it is deleted for its obnoxiousness.
